LOL no what you want is someone else to lose. It is fair, you can recruit like anyone else. Build your guild and compete.
Right. Because the PC players who moved over with their high end game items and made a boatload of money while other guilds were just starting. Now those other guilds have to get money from some other source while the PC players continue to make money from the traders they now have.
Fair indeed.
Actually its the worst system I have seen in an mmo.
Yeah. Of all the ways they could have "compensated" the people that bought the PC version while waiting for the delayed console version, they chose to give them basically everything while the rest were starting from scratch in a fresh start of the game.
The gold and items that we PC transfers brought over with us was stuff that we EARNED playing on the PC, thank you very much. Why should we be stripped of it just because you didn't want to play on the PC? Anytime you join a MMO, there are going to be people at the top with more gold and XP, and better gear than you. It's just something you have to deal with. If it's not this way at launch, then it soon will be a few weeks later.
You started on a new game. Yes you earned that crap on the PC. But you moved to a new server. That new server did not have an economy running. You guys came in there with all your stuff and now run it. Everyone else is playing catch up.
Just out of curiosity... if you bid 500,000 and you lose the bid, does it take your 500,000 anyway? The logical answer is, of course, "no"... but I just want to be certain because the wording of the title sounds like that isn't the case. Which would be insanely broken. 0_o

And you should have had to start fresh like the other 99% just starting the game on console.
That 99% didn't spend a year playing on the PC and earning that stuff. Why should it be a "level playing field" when we had put a LOT more work into this game already (and a lot more money too, since we PC players had to pay subs most of that time).
Ask yourself this. Let's say ZOS announces tomorrow that, with the release of Orsinium, they will be resetting every player in the game back to level 1, with 0 gold and 0 CP--so that new players coming in will have a "level playing field" going forward. Would you be cool with that? Would it be okay with you if ZOS just erased months of your hard work so that new players wouldn't have to play catch up with you? I suspect that you would be none too happy with that, no?
