Any Devs want to remove some bots?

I just entered The Black Forge in Coldharbour to complete the quest and I am met with 3 Biting Jab Spammer Templar Bots. (EU Mega server)

They are non-responsive

Their animations don;t play out properly, the character model just stands still when using biting jabs there are no limb animations

They have run around in the exact same circular path for the past 6 minutes.

Any Devs want to get rid of them.

Bot were one of the reasons i stopped playing PC months ago.

Was sick of seeing these guys in every dungeon and delve i went to ..

Happy to say transferring to xb1 has eliminated that and Ive had no issues

on Xbox EU i still see groups that look more like they are training after each other, plenty standing motionless by a spawn point reading a map for ages on end. Have had spawn points suddenly dissapear when only me there and no-one in sight in any direction

Really. I've come back and the Bots are still there. They've gained some VR ranks but they are still there. It would be nice of the players to get kicked or something, the botters have been running in circles for 24 hours.

I've reported them everyday for the past 4 days. Nothing has been done. This Really isn;t What I expected from ZOS.

They did a huge ban wave on "botters" way back when and thousands of non-botters got banned along with that wave. I think they are cautious to write an algorithm to detect bots for fear that they will ban more legit players again.

I used to be accused of being a botter when I was farming Delve bosses on PC (I play on PS4 now) but I was only farming them because at the time it was a great source of potions and soul shards, and often times the boss spawns had a chest near by.

We have to be careful about jumping to conclusions.

@egan_ESO Yes but if they are guaranteed botters and have been Reported multiple times I'm not sure Why a GM can't just Pop in there and Kick them from the game or something.

You know there is a difference between a dev and a GM yes?

Devs don't wander the game world issuing bans. They sit in cubicles and write code and apply textures to stuff.

The main reason that I'm annoyed about this is because it makes it look like ZOS doesn't care about that sort of behavior in the game and have a group of 3 Templar Biting Jab Botters farming XP for 4 days in the exact same place without anything being done despite them being reported.

GMs probably have to gather evidence that these players are actually botting. I don't know how they can do this, nor if they have access to every combat log, but I'm pretty certain that if they can see that a player follow the exact same path every single time without taking other players actions in consideration, then, they can ban them as soon as possible.

However, I doubt they can get that much information from logs (that is if they have access to it, and either or not it contains any information on the player's position at a given time).

You could make a video of yourself disrupting their "play" by killing all their mobs first and following them around: then send it to CS. Sure, they probably won't ban them right away, as they may need to see them in action first, but it will give them a lead to follow.

Bots are so slow to "react" after they kill a mob that you can easily get the lead on them and kill everything before they can even hit it. That or gather a friend and kill everything while making your video. If they do not react to your presence, they are most probably bots and that, GMs will be able to see that.
