Hey Folks,
couldn't see any topics that helped me with my question so here I am. I a completionist in games and currently I have Blacksmithing, Clothing and Woodworking up to level 50, I've been researching traits and am aiming for the Twice-Born Star armor which needs 9 traits. This brings me to my question, as to get my first Nirnhoned item to research I'm in need of completing the Craglorn questline.

I don't have the time to find groups to arrange to get the missions done and I can't solo as far as I'm aware, so how have you all done it? Assuming there are plenty like me who don't have time to find groups and play, I've been searching the guild stores for a while now and have yet to see one Nirnhoned item to buy and research.

Any ideas / advice?

    Which server are you on?

    In my experience you are in a minority, people in our guilds tend to ask for a group and find out pretty quickly.
    For those who want to just buy the traits and have the gold to do so we make items to order after a request in guild chat pops up.

    Ask someone to craft you a nirnhoned item.
    Big guildstores usually have them for sale too.
    You don't need to do any quests in craglorn.
    If you choose to do the quests though, you can solo 90% of them anyway if you're a decent player.

    To be honest with "trading" being banned from here I have no idea where to ask someone to craft me Nirnhoned items, without shouting out in area chat or something.

    Also I need the nirncrux to give to someone to craft right? As far as I'm aware they're only in Craglorn too

    @Titansteele - I'm on Xbonx one EU server, AD faction you guys can make nirnhoned items>?

    As others have said, you can get nirnhoned items from other players, either via the guild stores or by asking a crafter to make one for you. If you are Vet level, you have access to Upper Craglorn and can farm the stones, so you can ask someone to craft an item for you and give them the mats, which should be cheaper.

    If you aim for 9 trait items, thats gonna take a while. Last research times are 1 month. Trait 9 is for loyal/veteran players, and those same people should provide stuff to others as they have been around so long and are going away in any time soon. One just doesnt become Master Crafter in ESO.

    any guildstore recommendations at all that you guys know sell nirnhoned items? I'm seriously yet to find one in my 5 guilds and in random guildstores while constantly porting to each town/city/waypoint

    I know that of course, I'm Vet 7 at the moment, and the research times are ever increasing, even with full passives and ESO Plus. but I still need to find these before I can start researching lol. getting irritating.
