Apologies for the simple question , new player , how do I rebind keys on the Playstation 4 ?

I am looking for a way to rebind my keys. I have a custom setup on my Final Fantasy configuration (and some other games) but cannot find the option here. How do I do that for this game ?

The only way to change your button layout is through the Playstation itself. It's under the accessibility tab in the settings menu.

From what they said on ESO live they were originally going to let all players remap however they wanted but with the number of keybinds the game has, the ones which double up and the fact you have to bind them all it would become a mess to let players map however they wanted.
They instead opted for a number of pre-sets which covered the most common styles they found people to be using within ZOS for testing.
To my knowledge you can't change them past these, other PS4 users might be able to help you however.@Turelus - EU PC Megaserver

I just want them to switch the map button with the weapon swap button. The ps4 dpad is not on the inside of the left analog stick so it's extremely inconvenient to have buttons related to the action located there. Having to move my right thumb to the left analog stick, then moving my left thumb to the d-pad, then returning both thumbs to the original position is no where near as efficient as quickly using my right thumb to press a button around it. I don't know why the map, which I would never need to open while moving anyway, is in a better spot than the weapon swap buttons.
As far as the double up keybind issue, there are only two on the controller. The game seems to recognize the difference between one button being pushed and two being pushed extremely well. With that being the case, I don't see why a person can't swap their ultimate with something else they use less frequently for convenience if they wanted to. For example, if I have camo hunter on(for the 10 percent crit chance not for the exploit), I don't press it anyway so moving my ultimate to a 1 button press instead of two would be great.Knee Jerk, L2P, Obtuse, Casual, Entitled, All The Best, unnecessary mention of CoD
