Are you serious? CE-34878-0 is the standard application crash error... sure we can contact Sony but it's your game that's causing it not Sony.. If other games work fine we can extrapolate it's ESTU not the system.
Are you guys really that disconnected with your player base that you would deflect an error that almost everyone would be getting in your game at some point?
Surely an answer like "We are collecting the information submitted to Sony and looking into potential issues, while we can't address these issues directly, we are working on resolutions and if you would like more information please contact Sony"... This would be much better than a canned response that sounds like "It's not our fault".4 -
Pyro117✭✭I get these errors from time to time and every time I send the report to Sony.
I can only hope those error reports actually help. All games will give a CE error from time to time (at least for me). Most games are very rare to get one. Witcher 3 - one CE error in 100 hours of gaming. Destiny also gave CE errors (400+ hours of gaming).
ESO has the greatest frequency (by far) of throwing the CE error out of all my games.

✭✭✭✭✭I suspect a memory leak causing the PS4 to throw the error.
After a reset it doesn't happen for a while, then once it does it can occur multiple times till a full reset, at least in my case.
Had several of these problems on PC as you may recall.0 -

✭I'm still getting this error several times per day. It's a little annoying that when I contacted Sony and went through all their troubleshooting (re-install the game etc...). That it didn't fix it and then Sony starting pointing the finger toward ESO being the problem maker...
Come to the forums to get help and they re-direct back to Sony.
So let's have someone take some responsibility. Like the others, I only get this issue on ESO... never even seen it before other than this game. Not saying it IS ESO - but you gotta admit the evidence is pretty incriminating.1 -

Well my husband and I have 2 ps4s in the house. One is upgraded with a 2TB HDD and the other still has the original HDD. Both of us have experienced this error repeatedly so I seriously doubt it has anything to do with the size of the HDD.1 -

Get off the high horse and realize this is an internal issue aka your game, not Sony.

I have been playing since release and lately the game is completely UNPLAYABLE. I get kicked or Blue screened every freaking 10 minutes or so whether im in Cyrodil or not. Im not the only one having this issue, it seems many others are as well and I dont have this problem with ANY other game. Its only Elder Scrolls Online that causes me to disconnect or crash.
I dont understand why this issue isnt getting any attention.. are they ignoring it hoping people will shut up and pretend it doesnt exist? Im serious when I say its nearly unplayable. This error happens over and over and over. ZOS please respond to this issue with a real statement instead of blaming PSN.0 -

Obvious because of the lack of vocal posters on this issue, they are pretending it isnt a big issue. I've spoke to others in game that have this problem but they dont check the forums, they are ready to just quit game. You cant play the game, its broken. Im shocked there isnt a huge thread about it.0 -
Pyro117✭✭I know a lot of you guys are angry about this, but the best thing to do is to keep reporting it. I know ZoS has said it was a Sony issue - some stability issue. However, what we don't know is exactly how all these reports are being handled. If nothing else, Sony might get tired of receiving all the reports and we get a fix. So Report away!
I do play the game daily for about 4 hours, and I am in the lucky side that gets a few errors but nothing that keeps me from playing the game for hours on end.0 -
Ja50nX✭✭✭I think the problem is ZOS's lack of knowledge of consoles. The 1 year late release & the update sizes so far are a good indication of this.
Bungie originally played the blame game until they accepted that it was their problem & fixed Destiny.
CDPR straight up said ok, we'll look into it. They then fixed the multiple causes in The Witcher 3 in under 2 weeks.
ZOS are still playing the blame game......
Bethesda needed external assistance for Skyrim & Fallout NV so hopefully ZOS ask for help too, be it from Sony or even another publisher. I love ESO & want it to be the best it can be, please ask for help ZOS!!!

reinstalling game on PS4 does not WORK ESO lies about many things in the game I been told to fix internet and my ports already did that many times like reinstalling many times called many times about this issues to SONY and they just lie to u also its the game eso has no clue how to fix these issues0

i believe its too many people in the pvp server's just got wiped with 3 raids of DC and got that error code0
