✭I don't use magicka much, so this line is unimportant to me. I think I just rolled over to 7, but only because of the lore books I've found. I don't think my character will ever hit 10.
Thus, my answer would have to be "indifferent".0 -
Maidenname✭✭✭It was fun!It's worth it... Especially the ultimate Ice Comet. Because of the Lorebooks addons by Garkin on PC, locating all lorebooks is a breeze. I understand lore books addon is unavailable on console, yea...that can be a real challenge.... But it really worth it even if you are not a sorc. There is no faster way to get it to max lol 10 except complete your Mage Guild Quest story line and locate as many Lorebooks in all zones..and if necessary Caldwell silver if you are unable to locate those in cyrodiil

✭✭For me I just can't get myself to do it.
I can check my Lore Library but the problem is that it only shows if you have the book or not, and not which page is missing.
So books with 5 pages or so to complete it, is a hassle because you don't know which one you're missing

The only skill I found worth obtaining was Magelight... then I found out my DK has Inferno/Flames of Oblivion which is way better because it also grants Massive Savegery alongside the Soecery.

I don't think it's possible, there's not enough lorebooks in any given faction zone to max it out, I got MG 8 by grabbing every single lorebook in the pact and finishing the quest. You need to play Caldwell's Silver."You must defeat me every time. I need defeat you only once"0 -

Closest anyone has came was short of 15 books needed for rank 10.

Well, I just completed the Mage quest line at 34 and I'm 7 1/2 so I think I'll get it soon enough. Even if it's V1. Nonetheless, it's quicker on a PC with the add on than the PS4. This tactic may help:
For some books I went into areas that were my survivability (at the level I was at the time) was very low. I avoided fights and just went for the books. Since many were guarded I would sometimes just provoke the guardian(s) to chase me, then run away in a circular pattern that took me back to the book. I usually had time to open the book before the guardian caught me. You can't run too far or too long though or the guardian will lose interest and run back ahead of you.ContraTempo

My Xbox character is my 4th character. I never use addons or really go crazy...
My VR 14 Temp got it around VR5
My VR 8 NB got it like VR4 (had some Cyrodiil books).
My VR2 Sorc is a little into lev 9. he has a lot of sets, by coincidence.
Yesterday MY VR11 almost 12 DK on Xbox was off a bit from 10 with all VR zones complete.
I looked at my sets and I had ZERO complete sets... They were all 8/9 15/16 etc. It was crazy... just random chance.
Looked up 1 book online and BAM got it.

Since people use meteor in pre vet PVP I would say you are wrong. Some people say it can't be done in EP only the other two zones, I tend to agree since I am rank 9 with only about 6 books left to collect in EPFunkopotamus wrote: »It has been proven a few times. It cannot be done pre vet.

They finish the main quest with like 20 players and get access to the zones well before they should. (I think the earliest is level 45, but you do indeed see non-vet players in vet zones)
It is impossible to get Mage's Guild to 10 without access to VR zones - but is possible to access VR zones without actually being Vet level.

You can goto cadwells silver at 45...
So you need to enter the vet zone before your a vet type deal0 -

I don't think you can enter silver until level 45 since the quest triggers at 45... Unless theres a glitch/exploit0 -

Yeah, I know, I included that in there. But the fact remains they can get the books and enter the zone without being Veteran level.
Also I edited it in since I didn't think of it, but Cyrodiil also has the lorebooks scattered around, it's probably more likely they got them there.
