All 3 of the fragments I got were on characters who aren't capable of crafting blue or purple recipes. The only character I have who has put any points into that is my main provisioner, and she hasn't received a fragment yet.Our whole guild got together and bought or grinded writs to get one whole recipe in AD. took all week and many, many, many writs over multiple characters. The drop rate is extremely low. Based on Character RNG. And of course based on being able to craft purple recipes.
Myself; 4 maxed provisioners, writs everyday, nothing. AD.

I can't vote because I've received 3 fragments from writs, and I'm pretty sure each was from a character in a different alliance. At a minimum it would be from 2 different alliances, but I think it was 1 in each. All 3 of the fragments I got were on characters who aren't capable of crafting blue or purple recipes. No, the higher the level of the writ the better your chances are supposed to be. Being able to craft blue or purple food/drinks has absolutely nothing to do with the level of writ you'll receive. What you need in order to get a max level writ is to have your provisioning skill at 50, have 6/6 in Recipe Improvement, and be VR1+ so you can go to Craglorn. Having any skill points in Recipe Quality makes absolutely no difference to the level of writ that you get or to the rewards that you get for that writ. Every character that I received a fragment on was turning in a max level writ.I can't vote because I've received 3 fragments from writs, and I'm pretty sure each was from a character in a different alliance. Like I said in another thread, this sounds like it is working reverse of what was intended/stated. According to them the better you are, the better your chances are suppose to be.
As far as the poll goes, If you remember which one got it first, that would do fine. I am just trying to make sure there isn't any bugs, in an extremely low yield system.
