Dedicated Crafter Questions PS4

Hey all, still relatively new to the game and just had a few questions:

My situation: I am a Lvl 49 Khajiit Stamina Nightblade. I like the build but am interested in re-rolling as a different build. I have done a decent amount of research, invested skill points, and leveled the different crafting skill lines with my current build, but have most of my points in other skill lines. I am considering focusing on maxing out the crafting skill lines, and then rededicating all my skill points into crafting to make a dedicated crafter. Then when I create a new character I will not waste skill points on crafting and leave it all to this alternate account. But this has me asking some questions:

1) I understand shared bank space may be an issue, but is there any other drawbacks to doing this?

2) If my crafter account remains at Lvl49 or VR1, will it be able to craft items above that level? If I play my new account to VR14, will my crafter account be able to make gear/food/enchantments at this higher level assuming I have the crafting skill trees filled with the appropriate skill points?

3) My current character is Ebonheart Pact Alliance. Should my new account also be EP? Any positives/negatives in re-rolling my 2nd character in a different alliance to see some different PVE missions?

1) I don't think there's any problem.

2) Yes you can craft above your level as long as you have the passive in the blacksmith skill tree.

3) You can stay in EP or change. Once you finish your main story you can go to the other alliances area.

Having one, or two characters who craft is ideal. Then all your other characters can just be deadly.

An L3 can make VR14 gear if they have the skill points to level the Materials up. I would make the character a VR character and have finished the Main Quest just so you can farm more zones with them. Also, you can have them go get all the safe skyshards in the Silver zones (8 for each zone roughly) to get more skill points to level crafting with. Have your actives farm for the metals, woods and cloth's that are needed to make them gear.

I have 240 spaces in the bank and can't hold all my crafting mats, but I hold crafting mats for all levels, not just one or two of them. My clothier woodworker holds all those refined mats and tempers, my blacksmither holds those refined mats and tempers, and my enchanter holds the runes. The bank holds all the Trait, Style, raw mats, alchemy reagents and solvents, and provisioning ingredients.

It does not matter what alliance your crafter is other than some special crafting stations are easier to get to in some alliances than others (Ashen Grip is a pain in Auridon, easy peasy in Stonefalls). Some provisioning recipes are alliance specific, but you can buy them in the guild kiosks.

So, yes, respec them as a crafter, but do the Main Quest first if you can. That gives them more growth potential without a complete respec over and over.
