Spell effects not showing on PS4 in PvP

PvE is fine. But over the last week or so almost every PvP [Haderus EU] session my spell effects do not show, I am waving my staff around and it looks like nothing is happening. It is bad enough that we do not have half the indicators of a normal MMO, but to not see if your spell is launched or not just adds to the confusion.
Plus what is with the loud lightsaber noise when a lot of players come together, I keep thinking my PS4 is going to blow, chunks.
Haderus is a half dead server most of the time so I hate to think what it is like on the fully populated Azura's star.

✭✭✭✭✭Haderus PS4 is AD's buff server and they always have it pop locked.
Lately a lot of EP have started to chew into that, but since they are on 24/7 what EP accomplishes
is erased in the wee hours of the morning.
Also most of the AD that control lead on the server are high level PC transfers that have brought the bad meteor//healing springs spamming habits from PC so when we are getting into larger battles strange things happen as usual.
