✭✭For a stamina based nightblade that utilizes stealth, wood elf would be the best pick. I think the 6% Max stamina is better than the Khajiit's 6% weapon crit chance. (Update 2.1 stats)
I put the stamina and stealth parts in bold because if you want to make a magicka based nightblade it would be a completely different story (Breton or High Elf would be better). Also if you didn't want to utilize stealth as a stamina nightblade, imperial would be a strong choice.
