Requires RollCall Addon to play

I am looking to try something new and am in search for fellow gamblers to join me. I am currently hosting a mini casino game called "Lucky 7" using the RollCall addon. For those who are interested you can contact me in-game (@Savetti) to play or you can post your in-game name here and I will contact you.

Rules
{HIGH- 2x bet} - {LOW- 2x bet} - {LUCKY 7- 5x bet}

The Player (which is you) will place a bet by trading the gold to me and saying "High" (12-8), "Low" (2-6), or "Lucky 7" in group chat. Then The House (which is me) will roll 2 six-sided dice by saying /roll. If the results of the roll match what the player bet, your will win 2x or 5x your bet.

Since we have this addon "RollCall", everyone in group will be able to see what I roll and it will tell you exactly what I rolled. There is no typing over the results to fake them.

Example: if you bet 5k and win 2x your bet, you will receive 10k back. If you bet 5k and hit Lucky 7 , you will get 25k back.

Hmm.. 7 on a two 6-sided die is 1-in-6 chance and you pay 5-to-1. And the high low bets are 5-in-12 for either of the other options which you pay 2-to-1 on.

    So 5/12*2 = 10/12 = 16.6% profit margin for the house.
    And 1/6*5 = 5/6 = 16.6% profit margin for the house.

So assuming you get 100 people to bet 1K each you'll earn on average 16,667gp from them and payout only 83,333gp. No thanks. Those kind of payout rates are for chumps at airport slot machines.

I don't have the disposable income for this, but I think it's a fantastic idea. There was an addon in WoW that we used during down times during raids that was similar.

The person running the add on would set a max gold bet, and everyone would roll 1-n (n being the max bet). The lowest roll paid the highest roll the difference.

So if the max bet was 50,000 gold, for example...

    PlayerA /roll 1-50000 = 40000
    PlayerB /roll 1-50000 = 20000
    PlayerC /roll 1-50000 = 10000

    PlayerC owes PlayerA 30,000

Not sure if you could run a casino based on that model as easily, but it was super addictive.

I am not sure you understand. You have three ways to bet. High, low, and lucky 7

Edit: I miss read your post. My apologies. Disregard my statement above

I just honestly think you are looking into this a bit much. I don't follow your math but, okay man. To each their own. I am just looking to have fun.
