Not quite sure what type of income you're seeing at those locales, but in Razacks Wheel (incorrect spelling?) In the far south west of Bankorai I was able to come up with enough scraps for four frames in about 45 minutes.

As a vet5 dragonknight dps using light armor in ep, so bangkorai is vet5 enemies. How difficult do you think farming here solo would be?

As far as I can tell from hours of farming several different Dwemer ruins and researching various sites, threads, and forums, the drop rate for scraps is pretty low, and random at that.

I tested this theory out last night when I ran all of the Dwemer ruins in Alik'r. You have to keep in mind that containers in Dwemer ruins have a communal cooldown of approximately 1 hour. In other words, if you run through Razak's Wheel and loot every single urn, pot, and backpack, there will be diminishing returns on containers in another delve. If you immediately went to Yldzuun after after looting everything in Razak's, you'd notice that probably 90%+ of the containers would be empty. Also, re-logging has no effect for Dwemer ruins.

For scraps, it's best to stick to Dwemer ruins around your level since the mobs in the delve have a chance to drop them.

As far as farming containers, your best bet is to wait an hour and retry. Or run on an alt.
