Why do you insist on referring to the PTS/IC update as 1.7, it is 2.1

    1.7 WAY better communicates that and makes more sense.

    if i get a haircut the same time i turn 17 as well as go on government payments im still 17 not 27=P

    i mean personally i dont care how people refer to it but just saying the logic is there.

    1.7 is correct. 1.6.X is the same as 2.0.x. When they introduced TU it was relaunched at 2.0 even though it would have been 1.6 if they hadn't changed the incremental system.

    Check your client. 1.6 is not the same as 2.0. It was introduced a few weeks before 2.0. Why would you insist on referring to a non-existing version? Imagine you're discussing an issue that's specific to the current build (2.0.x) with someone who doesn't know the history of ESO updates - why would you throw noise into the discussion by not using the actual version number? Anyway, call it what you like. I just pitched in because, like the OP, I don't understand why people would do this.
