can anyone explain me how to get the Valkyn Skoria Shoulders?

Get very lucky.

...with a golden key.

You have to do the undaunted vet pledges and get the shoulders from the gold chest. There's a stupid amount of RNG involved.

You need to run the daily Undaunted VR dungeon quests. Complete the boss on Hard Mode and receive a Gold Key as a reward.

Then you have a random chance of getting a boss shoulders from the chest, this can be any boss, armour type and trait so getting what you want is a RNG nightmare. You'll likely need to run the quest every day for a while.

Also worth pointing out, you can just get random Undaunted set pieces, which are more likely to be useless to you.

Where can i get these quests?

I once received a mail from the untaunted via ingame mail, but i deleted it.. big fail?

Yeah... if you didn't take the quest item out of it before you deleted it, that could have bjorked you over. I'm honestly not sure.

You can check the Unndaunted enclave in your faction's capital, and see if there's a quest there for you. But, I think you need the letter to actually start the quest.

Yeah... if you didn't take the quest item out of it before you deleted it, that could have bjorked you over. I'm honestly not sure.

You don't actually need the email at all - it's for shock and awe.

Just go the Undaunted Enclave - it's a specialized icon outside the Alliance capital city.

(It's West of Wayrest, for instance, and outside of Elden Root for AD)

You'll find a single quest marker there to talk to one of the ultimate pledgegivers. Run through the mini-quest, just a lot of talking and explaining, sign the manifest, and collect pledges from there on out.

The only requirement is that you have to be level 45.

I believe it will even give you the Undaunted skill line if you somehow never picked it up earlier.

He must of received the invitation to the enclave via mail because to my knowledge you can't delete mail with attachments until you take the attachment out?..

There was a timeframe between, I think 1.5 and 1.6 where you could delete mail with items still attached.

I went to the Untaunted Enklave in Elden Root but they have no quest for me... After that i went to the untaunted house in Glenumbra and could talk to a guy wich gave me the skillline + spindleclutch quest, but im not sure if this ithe correct way and if it's for the vet content to receive gold keys for the shoulders..

My faction is AD.

You can only get the gold key by doing the veteran daily pledge and completing the options steps in them. Then the gold chest has a chance to drop shoulders.

The undaunted place were they will give you quests it in/by the captial city of your original faction, wayrest in stormhaven for dc.

But yes veteran pledges are as titled for veterans only.

@attenchun so long as your character is level 45, you'll be able to sign up at the Enclave. Prior to that they'll acknowledge you as Undaunted, but will not give you the time of day otherwise.

Sadly, I did forget to mention, you will only have gold key option after reaching Vet, as @leepalmer95 added.

The good news is, you're 5 levels away, at most.

The bad news is, Vet CoA is VR14 and does not downscale, so it's gonna be a bit longer before you can collect the helm, I'm afaid.

The good news is, any gold key from any Hard mode challenge Vet pledge can grant any shoulder monster set.

The bad news is, any gold key can grant any shoulder monster set, at any weight, with any trait...

I'd hang onto keys for a while (Then all will scale to your max level.)

So its still possible even if I have deleted the Untaunted Mail.

@leepalmer95 My faction is AD and the untaunted guys in elder roots have no quests for me..

I only could talk to a untaunted guy in glenumbra wich gave me the skillline.

Thanks odd that you're AD and getting the spindleclutch quest while in glenumbra...As AD my first undaunted quest was Banished Cells and attained from the tavern in Vulkel Guard, Auridon on ALL five (5) of my alts.

In addition, I never needed an invitation. As soon as my character(s) was lvl 45 I was simply able to visit the enclave and start doing pledges. Is it possible that you've already picked up these quests a long time ago and they are still in your journal? That would explain why there are no quest markers for you at the enclave in Elden Root. Check your journal and see if you have a quest labeled as "pledge".

The only other thing I can think of is you're not actually AD but are DC, but I don't assume you're mistaken.

Pro tip: With v16 coming August 31st 2015 all undaunted sets will be v16 making any v14 you get now obsolete. Do the pledges, but save your keys!!! Wait until you are v16 and then unlock the gold undaunted chest for your chance at v16 Skoria shoulders.

Hey @Cuyler thanks for the replie. So as I understand i've to do all the Quests before ill be able to do the vet pledges? I'm 100% AD and I'm sure i have not picked up the quests with this char, only with my other alt wich is on DC and VR2..

One more Question what's the difference between Quests and Pledges? In both I've to visit a dungeon right?

Do you receive the keys from the untaunted guys or from the final bosses?

Pledges are daily quests from the Undaunted. There's two a nonvet and vet. You can do both each day. They reset around midnight Eastern, IIRC.

No. As soon as your character is lvl 45 you can go to the undaunted enclave and begin doing the pledges.

The dungeon "quests" are attained in the dungeon itself. The "pledges" both regular and veteran are attained only at the undaunted enclave. For example let's use the dungeon "Spindleclutch" because that is what you've been tasked to do.

The Spindleclutch "quest" is only attained by entering the dungeon and speaking with the quest giver inside the dungeon. This quest is called "deadly whispers". Once completed it will reward a skill point and an achievement and it cannot be repeated.

The regular and veteran spindleclutch pledges are only attained by the undaunted enclave and once attained show in your journal as "Spindleclutch Pledge" and "Veteran Spindleclutch Pledge" respectively. These are daily repeatable quests that reset @~1am est every day.

The requirements to complete each quest/pledge are different, with the veteran pledge having an additional "gold key" objective to complete in order to recieve the gold key which access the best undaunted rewards from the gold chest at the unadaunted enclave. The gold key is rewarded upon handing in the quest to the quest giver located at the undaunted enclave.

The Undaunted Enclave is not the folks in the tavern you meet during normal 1-50 leveling. If it is an outdoor camp in the capital city. For AD, it should be just outside the big tree in the center of town.

@attenchun again make sure to check your journal for any quest with the word "pledge" attached to it. You can only have one (1) normal and one (1) vet pledge in your journal at a time. So if you have a pledge for any other dungeon in your journal you will not be able to pick up a new one at the enclave south of the Big Tree in Elden Root.
