Ended main quest at level 47 but missed some quest?

I ended the game with Level 47. I know i missed many quest down the road, i got some new ones from early zones but they color is white. My question is, if this quest will give me XP as if would have done it when i was that level, or because i´m 47, and the quest is for 20, i get almost none xp?

Should i bother doing them? or it won´t affect my player xp?

You get the same quest XP, but no XP from the monsters you kill.

ok, got it, so i would get a little less xp since it will only apply the quest xp. I guess i will do it then. Its not good not having any idea how much XP i get from what. (console version)

I have gone back and done the quests because I want to complete them, but I don't think you will get more xp now because you are a higher lvl. There are quests however that give skill points so if you have missed those it would be better to go back and get them.

The quest XP isn't the only thing you'll have missed. You get a fair amount from exploring and if you've missed a lot of quests you also probably missed locations that can give you XP. If you're on PC there are some great addons like "Undiscovered" that show you places you've missed. On console you unfortunately need a laptop with a browser open to some site with maps.

Wait until your VR Ranked. You get Champ Points for the quests so you might as well get something useful out of them. If you do them now, you just get character experience. I got 2 Champ points just from one zone's doing the quests I skipped in that zone while a VR6 and it was the 3rd leveling zone.

If you need some experience to gain some ranks, go kill zombies at the Vile Lab or Cliffs of Failure or the Public Dungeon in Coldharbor.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Quests are worth a lot of XP compared to monsters anyway.

You always get the defined XP reward from the quest itself, regardless of your level.

You just won't get any XP from killing the mobs associated with the quest if you are more than 5 levels above them.

i´m on console. when i see a map that i feel is empty on one side i tend to put the marker and go, i usually find tons stuff while going there. I will try to do that. i´m not a level up freak so i will try to discover by myself. But i just wanted to know if i would get something in return or it was pointless to do so.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought after a quest went "grey", when you were 5 levels above it, you no longer got quest xp for completing it. Is that not the case?

that´s what i thought, and that is why i´m asking, but it seems do you still get xp from the quest.

You get XP, both normal leveling XP and to the skills/weapons you have equipped when you do the turn-in.

You always get the quest XP from it, you just won't get any XP for killing anything that's more than 5 levels below you. Also, depending on how much higher you are than the quest, the quest XP might seem like it's practically nothing. If you're a VR5 going back and completing a level 5 quest you'll still get the same amount of quest XP as you would have at level 5, but it will now seem like nothing because it takes so much more XP at high levels to advance.

This apply to dungeons? Did a 31 dungeon when I was 47. It was only two of us and it leveled to the lead who was 31.

Same deal. No monster XP (dungeon monster XP is low anyway). But you will get the XP for the quest, if you haven't done it already. Not sure if it scales to you or him. Monsters will give XP if within 5 levels of you (all Vet levels = 50)
