Peeps,

Anyone not able to get past the age verification screen on windows 10 using the Edge browser?

It keeps bringing me back to the same page...

Any help?

Best guess is you're hitting a new security issue with cookies. From what I've read the new browser clamps down on security by default. You'll probably have to go to the setting menu and allow cookies for the elder scrolls site.

It is very similar to the settings menu in IE (although there is some weird stuff there). If you reflect the same settings as you were using in IE, you should be fine.

I had a similar issue with a couple of other games I was using yesterday. It turned out to be my activex settings (weird!) and my .NET interface.

Use Chrome or Firefox and allow the website.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    Thanks for all the suggestions.

Messed around with the security settings in edge, even disabled defender, to no avail...

Wanted to keep only 1 evil empires software on my computer, but alas I have already failed...

    Chrome is the answer :)

    Thanks again

Doesn't windows 10 still have IE (exploder)? You should still be able to stick to the one evil empire.

They're done with IE, it's now Edge which replaces IE on Windows 10. I wouldn't go out of my way to install Windows 10 just yet, I'd give it some time to work through some of the bugs n' glitches. But if you want to be one of the first the reviews seem mostly positive

I used to work for Microsoft. I don't love or hate them but always marvel at their ability to have great technology with the WORST POSSIBLE USER EXPERIENCE. So go with something that works, if that's Chrome or Firefox. And forget about Microsoft ever fixing the problems with Edge. It took them what, 5 years to finally bring back the Start menu? They make Zenimax look responsive. W00T!
