im seeing ppl say the new changes help magicka nightblades...can someone be kind enough to explain how this is the case please? not being snide...i genuinely want to know

Though concealed weapon get nerfed.
Though dw stam NB get a big buff. aswell as any other stam build thanks to vigor.Moons and sands shall be your guide and path.

However yes, non concealed weapon magicka NBs are in a pretty good shape with this patch since none of the nerfs really affect us in any way. We also get 15% magicka regen in exchange for 15% stam regen and vamps become a bit more appealing for the class.
Grim Focus activation count was reduced to 4 hits also which may increase single target ranged dps capabilities a bit.
The Siphoning strikes destruction hasn't done much damage to my magicka NB either. I haven't had much need to use it since 1.4 anyway. It was more important for my Stam Nb.

What is is the Concealed weapon nerf? I can't find anything on it.

Everyone was new to the game at one point. The problem is that you are asking for information that you will have difficulty understanding because of how skills combine with the upcoming Imperial City changes, which are not even final. It's all theorycrafting at this point so asking for information without understanding the basics is pointless. Once IC is released this will change but the meta isn't even close to final yet. ZoS can still adjust, tweak, remove and add several things before release.
You should be trying to learn about Nightblade and its skills and referencing current builds if your curiosity is genuine. Also, use wiki and the players helping players forum instead of the general discussion. There is a lot of information to cover and without focusing on a specific aspect much of the provided information won't be useful because you simply won't understand it yet.
tl;dr: Magicka NB looks to be dominant according to the proposed IC changes.

Ckrit✭Lotus Fan's initial damage on PTS is equivalent to Ambush. Instead of Ambush's Empower buff it throws out a small radius AOE dot with a snare. Could be very useful with a well timed Proximity Detonation.0

Proxy Det was also nerfed by 28% but given an instant cast and 8s fuse along with a 5% damage buff for every target in its detonation radius (up to 25%). It's weaker but easier to use. The 8s fuse makes it harder to time correctly though.1 -

I have been on vacation for a month, but last I heard you were not gonna be ale to hit with single target attacks on roll dodgers, like whip and concealed, which was a main reason why I chose that ability for my mg nb.Moons and sands shall be your guide and path.
