Takes a lot more leadership on Xbox one than it did on PC

Ov3rkiIL

The best thing about making an army on PC was communication was easier. TS3 all day. You could have your entire force in 1 channel.

But on the Xbox we have to make new roles to occupy many channels in both guild, and group chats.
I have to train a lot more leaders to do a lot more roles on the Xbox.
There needs to be a TS3 equivalent on the Xbox :/

I never said that. I still have just as many people in a fight, I just have to assign more leaders to do more roles.

We usually split our guild into 4 groups while in Cyrodiil. Takes 3 leaders in each group to stay organized with all the other groups tho.

So instead there is one leader, giving orders to 12 other leaders that are controlling ~80 people.

ye better for muppets like you who's been on 24/7 exploiting the fact you moved from pc. and nobodys got caltrops and AW perks to compete with you and stop you perma stealth ganking lowbies who havent had a chance to learn the game yet...

ive watched you night after night..funny thing man you were pretty anonymous on PC , what was wrong there? everybody had the same abilities unlocked and experience to know how to counter a lame build like yours?

i,m sure you are glad i can't communicate with the masses in chat channels to let all those new players how to deal with such lame tactics.

i mean abusing prox det like you do... pretty lame on PC but on xbox where it,ll be months before even a fraction of the players get to unlock it and learn how its used.... pretty sad imo. but don't worry everyone already has you pegged. enjoy being emperor cos you abused your transfer away from PC where you obviously lacked the skill to compete with the tryhards there who started playing at the same time.

you are a standing joke on xbox for it trust me.

I don't know who you are, I don't really care for who you are either. But you make some stupid and dumb assumptions.

Anonymous on PC, I still managed to get emperor on the busiest campaign on PC and held several world records in Trials. So yeah, I just didn't have a clue what I was doing on PC, they completely scared me away!

I moved from PC because the lag was and is horrendous; the fact that almost every keep take is just whoever can pile as many bodies on the flags is ridiculous.I wanted to play with some of the guys I used to play console games with and to just have some fun. And for the guys that message me asking, I give them tips on how to counter me. Most ask for build advice with the odd few who just want to be typical console idiots.

I run around solo most of the time unlike other PC transfers running around camo hunter exploiting with groups of 4-5 transfers.

Regarding the abuse of proxy det, it is almost useless against people who don't zerg up. I run into big groups, try not to kill the lower chars unless they are in a large group harassing me.

My nightblade is a brand new pvp char, it only ever entered Cyrodiil once or twice on PC to get skyshards, so to claim I came from PC already with those abilities is naive.

The only characters that had Alliance Skill Rank above 3 are my 2 DKs, one being 9 and the other 10. I have not played those once on console.

A lot of the guys I play with are already have alliance skill rank 8-9 from new characters and have nearly as many champion points as me. I had 90 points when I transferred, people just doing quests to get to max level will be almost taking over me (seen as I only do pvp) within weeks not months.

The fact I have a 9-6 job pretty much negates your 24/7 argument you 'muppet'. Please stop watching me night after night, you might end up with some kind of stalker complex.

the lies is strong with this one... you got emperor while having a 9-6 job eh?? was it a 9-6 job that you only need to attent one day a month or something?yes cos everyone knows that having a full time job is possible while getting emperor. everyone knows that grinding emperor is compatitble with a healthy work and social life. and you managed it on pc as well ? oh wheres the evidence of that.

i could post the exact number of ap you have in azuras star right now and your currently emperor, i'm sure thats possible on a weekday when you gotta work 9-6.. ye right unless of course you would have us believe that the entire top 10 from AD of which you are number 1 are all luckily for you guys who have 9-6 jobs ?
wouldnt that be lucky to be in the busiest server on the xbox1 and not having to compete with any jobless guys to get to number 1 ranking. And not only that its during the summer holidays from school, so even more lucky that none of those top 10 could be on holiday and put in way more hours than a guy whos number one and working 45 hours a week....... riiight

and you don't run around solo at all, you also have prox det on your magika nightblade. it would be pretty useless on a dk where everyone can see you coming.

but on a magika nightblade where almost nobody has caltrops with a decent amount of cp giving you perma cloak spam. means you can zip about invisible and blow up loads of lowbies who cant get you out of stealth long enough to burn you down. new players rarely spam detect pots or anything else either..

but hey enjoy it man , i,m sure you find it feeds your ego just right.

Lies? You are the one literally making stuff up to make personal attacks.

Whether it's a 'healthy work and social life' is nothing to do with you. Most of the better players on PC don't get emperor by no-lifing, they get it because they can farm large amounts of AP in a short amount of time.

Well the evidence is the title on my character, along with quite a few guys who use these forums who can attest to it.

If almost nobody has caltrops then you are playing a completely different game, all I see is caltrops caltrops caltrops, all with camo hunter exploit. That coupled with invisible coldfire counter-siege. Plenty of people are spamming detection pots (obviously nowhere near as much as on PC).

And to add to your edited comment. Check my AP at 9am and then again at 6pm, it will not change.

You do know that I don't have to be online while my alliance gets me emperorship right?

And your edited post now makes the assumption that I know why guys in my alliance cant farm AP to get ahead of me.

Plus; can you please start typing in structured sentences, you are giving me a headache.

ah , i always know i'm winning an arguement when the other guy resorts to being the "grammer police" lol. Thats the last bastion for those who have no counter arguement worth reading.

listen you can try to tell us that you can be emperor 22 days into a 30 day campaign thats pop locked all day by only playing a few hours a night if you like , but do you honestly think we,re that dumb?

perhaps you could convince us you grabbed emperor in the first few days of a campaign by taking some time off work etc... but not 22 days in, that prize is reserved for the primo no lifer in that campaign over the full 22 days..

unless you would have us believe that in the busiest xbox server theres absolutely nobody in there that wants it more than a guy who only plays a few hours a night??

When did I say I only play a few hours a night? Assumptions again.

You do realise I have had emperor previously during this campaign, each time getting quite a big lead before people start catching me up? I speak to half of the V14s in EP on a daily basis, they all know what times I come online.

Usually guys get close to me during the week and then I get a larger lead over the weekend. Getting emperorship at the weekend, no-one, even hardcore players can compete with that. Until this weekend, I was only 100k ahead of the guy in second.

Winning an argument? Everything you have said is completely baseless.

And no, I have not taken days off. I'm not out to brag or feed my own ego, I'm just playing a game I enjoy.

you made out you only play a few hours a night , i called BS. lets examine it then.

you say you work 9 hours a day. lets add 1 hour for travel to and from work = 10. you must sleep i assume? lets say 7 hours sleep a night = 17. so assuming you do nothing at all in your life except work and play pvp (which i honestly hope isn't the sum total of your existance tbh) that means you can play 7 hours a night maximum.

( but even with no firends and partners, i would assume unless you live in mom's basement you would also have to sacrifice some precious play time to stuff like cooking , shopping , washing etc, but we,ll take that as a given)

i,m saying that simply isnt enough to be top of the leaders on the busiest server 22 days into a 30 day campaign. out of all those guys who sink way more time into the game cos they dont work they would easily overtake you this far into the campaign. everyone knows theres folk who can sink 12+ hours a day into pvp and guess what they end up being emperor cos you simply cant compete with that level of time investment unless you can match it.

but again nobody who does sink that amount of time into the game will ever admit to it, there's a stigma (and rightly so) about being that guy. ( how can you kill that which has no life)
In fact if you polled all the emperors who did manage it throughout a busy campaign they would probably argue that they were all muscular dudes with lovely girlfriends and ran their own fortune 500 company's , they just managed to be so awesome they managed to do it without needing to have utterly empty social lifes and have no job to take them away from their march to uberness.

its been the same in every MMO since iv'e played them from everquest to warcraft to ESO you can't beat the jobless man in MMO land cos TIME is the only currency that matters in the end, he who devotes the most time has the best stuff wins things like emperor.

so please don't try to *** on us and tell us its raining cos it's just not gonna wash.

If you had a clue how to play this game, then maybe you would understand that (for example) 1 person making 60k per hour vs 1 person making 20k per hour; the first person doesn't need to play anywhere near as much.

You also miss the fact that people on console dont know anything about def ticks, I've seen 3 of us take a 50-60k per person tick because the zerg ran away from the keep/outpost.

There are so many emperors that I have played with and against that do not need anywhere near the amount of time that you think you need to be emperor, you clearly have no clue.

It seems like you are claiming you are an mmo veteran (as if that even matters one tiny bit) but when it comes to ESO pvp you are absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt, clueless.

Again, resorting to a persons personal lifestyle, why do you even care? You make all of these wild statements but I am guessing you have never become emperor so you would not know what is involved, just poor guesswork.

I have obviously hit a nerve with you, find it kind of laughable; expected the reaction from a console player but from a PC transfer it's a whole new level of comedy.

I can conform that Dalglish was Emperor on his Dk Thornblade EU PC as he played with our guild at that time. Moreover it is possible to get Emperor easily while having a job if you are good enough. On Console most of the enemies are free AP as they are just noobs, don't know about def ticks etc.

If you play 6 hours a day @60k / hour thats 360k AP per day. Even if you can play 16 hours a day you still need to be at 27k AP/h which I guess most players won't even be at. If you get Emp once you can farm so much AP that noone will ever catch up if you dont stop playing.

If you play 6 hours a day @60k / hour thats 360k AP per day. Even if you can play 16 hours a day you still need to be at 27k AP/h which I guess most players won't even be at. If you get Emp once you can farm so much AP that noone will ever catch up if you dont stop playing.

ok so you could do it by playing 6 hours a day if you farm mercilessly? (which i still dispute but lets roll with it) ok so if you were working 9 hours a day and sleeping 7 how much time does that leave you to actually have a life ?

can you maintain friends and possibly a girlfriend? wheres the time to go out the house? get some excercise , go to the pub, the movies, for a curry? i doubt it very much either way its a sad existance imo if thats the sum total of your life.

and if you could do it with 6 hours a day play time your also having us believe out of the entire population on your server nobody else can farm anywhere near as good as you and devote 10 or 20 more hours a week than you.

I guess forums are for butt hurt people that argue over stupid *** lol Console definitly is a lot funner than PC was. More skill for leadership and being in an underdog Alliance makes you a better player. Too bad EP has to zerg everything to even accomplish anything at all lol

It's hard to call it farming 'mercilessly', half of the players on console try and light/heavy attack you to death. Hardly anyone shields, heals or tries to CC.

I have had emperor at the weekend twice now, If you get emperor on a full server, there is absolutely no hope that anyone can catch you unless they are exploiting.

Again, my personal life has absolutely nothing to do with you; I could be a recluse with 15 toes and gangrene growing out my toenails; it would still have nothing to do with you.

The main point I have been making is that you are making assumptions when you have absolutely no idea of how the Alliance War works. That still completely holds true.

You have even been told by someone far more experienced than most on these forums and you still want to live in your little bubble.

i know exactly how it works , so does everyone else. there's a reason south park made the parody about the hardcore gamer , theres a reason everyone knows. you see it's easy for guys like you when on a forum to think that the wee "bubble" you like to speak of who has a fair percentage of folk who do play the game obsessively to defend each others obsession.

like i say nobody gonna admit to playing obsessively at the expense of a decent social/work life. if we were to believe you nobody is ever unemployed who gets emperor or in fact any of the folk who seem to have masses of free time to devote to it do so by suspending the rules of time altogether.

but in reality most folk understand how it works.

so make your meme's complain about my grammer, do what you guys do , but the vast majority of players who do in fact play in a way its not the be all and end all of thier world, who will never get to be emperor and don't care cos they would rather have family , cars, nice things and someone to go to bed with at night ...

    don't buy the BS

you are correct, and the stupidist thing of all to argue about is that "zerging" is something that only one faction is to blame for.

    welcome to the forum

The best thing about making an army on PC was communication was easier. TS3 all day. You could have your entire force in 1 channel.

But on the Xbox we have to make new roles to occupy many channels in both guild, and group chats.
I have to train a lot more leaders to do a lot more roles on the Xbox.
There needs to be a TS3 equivalent on the Xbox :/

Eso sucks balls anyway on console just find another mmo to play i suggest dcuo at least they care about there console players

I wouldn't say that to any PC players after what they have been through for the last year haha!

Give them a chance for the next patch, everything on PC has basically been held up because (it seems) of the console release; maybe we will start seeing progression in the things that people want to see.

    Guy said he had emp.
Another guy said he could have it with a job
    First guy said he could
    Second said nah uh
First called the grammar police on the second
Second called the first a no lifer
    First used a meme
Second called out meme and said first had no GF and lived in moms basement.

I think that sums this up nicely.
