How much heavy armour should a magica based Sorcerer Wear?

I am currently wearing heavy amour on my shoulders and feet, medium armour for gloves, and light amour for the rest of my body. Is it important that I equip one of each armour type to level them ? Or should i go all light amour to receive all the full magica boost?

Go full heavy armor . That way, you won't turn into one of those sorcs spamming bolt escape, stacking 100 shields, regening max health in 5 seconds.

Wait just a minute... If he goes FULL heavy armor wont that give him MORE health regen with the Passives? Especially if he were playing a Nord.

Go 1 ha/1 ma/5 la if you have the undaunted mettle passive.
If not go 7x light, in pvp almost all armor gets ignored anyway.

I would go 7 light,

It is key for the magicka passives on the light armour skill line,
You need all the magicka and regen you can get to keep stacking your shields so that you can survive.
