Why do people think ZOS are lazy?

I think if it as taking the easiest route. Good example:

To add a barber shop they could add buildings and NPCs to check out new hair, change hair and accessories, add other Facesculptor NPCs to allow your to change your appearance

Or.... they could just add a "return to character creation" useable item in the Crown Store.

The second option would be seen as the "lazy" way to add those features to ESO.

Lazy, or cheaper and less time consumeing when they could be spending that time makeing REAL content? Are you even a programmer/developer?

And what exactly is 'real' content?

Everyone wants to see things in this game. Not all of it is going to be a new zone and new quests. But all of it adds to the content of the game. Not just zones and quests. But actual Quality of Life additions.

When camo hunter is bugged and brought to the attention of ZOS, and then a period of time that is unreasonable to fix a bug goes by before they decide to do anything, and then when they finally do something, the bug is still present. Either they are lazy and didn't test their fix, or missing brain cells required to actually debug issues. Which of those isn't my concern, you can pick the poison.

Whatever group works on bugs and nerfs is lazy. All should be broken up and moved to different departments, and a new group formed. They take the lazy solution to nerfs every time, or just ignore it. But zos as a whole isn't lazy at all. Just like ww, instead of doing something to make ww better and give people more of a reason to have the ultimate slotted, they took the only reason to be ww away. Then you have camo hunter and nothing at all gets done

I don't think people really think they are lazy, but instead they want that immediate response. They want things that have people complaining about bugs be address. They want that quick response that isn't always there. I don't see them as lazy and I feel they have put in a lot of effort and time in creating the game and improving the game.

I just wonder how their process of problem solving or just planning is?

Immediate? Hell, I want them to fix things period. There were quests -- major plot line quests -- broken for a year after release. The group finder is a worthless waste of UI and time. Toggle effects for magic users that go off randomly when you walk thru doors and don't have visible effects so you need to rely on UI Addons to see if they're even working. There are game breaking bugs with players hopping thru cracks and on to upper floors of keeps in Cyrodiil. And the lag. OMG the lag.

Instead we get "Soon" as the answer to everything and it's really the answer to nothing.

And how are they understaffed? They make new mounts weekly. Not a moment spared when adding stuff to the crown store to make money. Which I have no problem with at all, I'll even buy it, but only in the hopes that they fix their (in what you assume), understaffed problem, with the money that they make.

That's not even counting the money they make from ESO Plus subs, and it's a lot.

    Understaffed is laughable.

Look at what they've done to "fix" the racial passives. That's laziness right there.

They recently patched an exploit bug on xbox, unsure about PC. IC is just around the corner and Orsinium will be out just after. I just seems to people think they're are some infinitely large mega corporation and or are jumping on the hate bandwagon. I've never known a community demand so from the Devs. The game is the game, if you like it play it if not then calm down.

I read an article a few weeks ago that said that people who have either been playing video games for a long time (multiple gens) or are older (35+) generally do not complain as often, and when they do, it is done more constructively via discussions, instead of mostly wining and rude comments. But those with less experience and/or younger have the least satisfaction and additionally the least constructive conversations about it. I wonder if its true. I tried to search again the article but I can't find it.

Oh look a 'Its Millenials fault' post.

I call BS on it anyway. I'm Generation X and all my generation does is *** and moan about EVERYTHING.
