The cat in the AD plot is a close second though but since... well, that'd be spoiler material. But hands down for me it's Stibbons. And I was very glad when I ran into him in Coldharbor. Thus DC and the misadventures of Stibbons gets my vote.

The Elder Scroll series has always been about questing. There was no way they could slap the TES label on it without making questing a major part of the game. It'd be like going to the BWM dealer and saying, "Yeah, I want a BMW but can you get me one without wheels, doors, and an engine? I'm looking for the windshield, the decals, and maybe the brakes. You have that on the lot?"

I do like that part of the story and just completed it in Cadwell's Silver with my Templar last night. Though I wish it happened in the last zone and gave you the option of becoming a vampire at the end of it. But there is a prize in Bangkorai -- the Dwemer Spider pet. Every final zone should've had a prize like that but currently you have to at least clear that one dungeon in DC to get it now.

Farorin✭✭✭✭✭AldmAD, we have Razum-dar in all his hilarity, and the ever so sexy Queen Ayrenn. On top of that, I also think AD has the prettiest locations.
DC would be a second, but I dislike the part of the main story when you hit the red guard territories, I find it boring and uninteresting, but this is made up for with how funny High King Emeric is throughout the main story.
EP I am not a huge fan of, but Naryu is cool, though the Skald king is a massive ***.0 -

JJBaboon✭✭AldmLoved Dominions areas, quests and characters most. One of the least explored areas of Tamriel in the previous games so that was exciting for me.
Daggerfall had some cool quests but fell VERY short with the conclusion of the storyline for me.
Ebonheart had the Skyrim locations I grew to love in the past years and the Morrowind locations that made me nostalgic like you wouldn't believe, but as a Khajiit I took serious offense to the Nords calling me a "milk drinker"... I'm a man sized cat. Of course I drink milk....

✭✭✭✭✭Ebonheart PactI just like the pact best, and not just because I am an incorrigable dunmer-fancier.
I just love how the story gets me involved with background for the three-banners war... when I go into cyrodil on my main EP toons, I feel like I am defending the innocnets back home from covenant and dominion agression (Remember Bleakrock! Remember Bal Foyen! Remember Davon's Watch! Remember Shadowfen!). And the other questlines touching upon the tribunal matters or the nord politics are interesting as well... (of course, the varied region styles are also a big plus)
When I do the same on my covenenant alts, I can maybe see it as reaction to the imperial incursions, but I don't really feel any background as to why I ought to be fighting the pact or dominion. Especially considering how many of their region questlines came from other sources... twice reachmen, lots of undead to bother folks, and the occasional cult making trouble at several corners... always makes me wonder why they don't just sit at home and get their own house in order first...
And as dominion, I kinda feel like a puppet of the arrogant altmer jerks who want to subjugate all of nirn just because they think they are the pinnacle of creation... Ayrenn and Raz may be decent people, but the altmer in general feel rotten to the core behind their gilded veneer. And Ayrenn won't live forever... the veiled heritage may have failed today, but the general mindset that spawned it will still be there, just waiting for next time.1
