don't buy imperial city If console doesn't get text chat
I would not waste my money on ic when it's out on console it's already impossible to find a group to do anything on console no text chat makes it hard to create your own group and the group finder is a pos that never works so i Wouldn't recommend anyone to buy it unless they want basically a useless piece of content unless text chat is added before it's released or group finder is fixed as it is almost impossible to do anything in ic without a group which you can't get into do the problems stated plus if we don't buy it for these various reason it will put more pressure on them to have to add text chat on console i say speak with are wallets until text chat is added to console

How do you guys communicate in a guild? I mean guilds can have upto 500 peeps in them.. How does voice chat work with that? is it just potentially 500 peeps talking in a single channel or something?
This question also stands for zone chat, is zone chat just one big voice chat channel with a hundred or so competing voices?
I just want to better understand how your system works.

( text chatting via a console controller is just STOOPID .. in my less than humble opinion ... btw. I use my PSN app to PSN message, not the controller "keyboard simulator")

Back on topic, will I purchase the DLC? Not right now...I'm not even close to hitting the vet ranks. And once I do, I'll be evaluating my continued support of ESO based on my experience at end game level.
Text chat (or the lack of it) will factor into my decision about continuing, and assuming I decide to move on, I'll simply move on.0 -
