PSN Issues again?

Got home just a bit ago and went to get online but PSN features weren't working. Shut my PS4 off thinking it was one of them issues PSN has sometimes but checked PSN status and all was indicated up and running. Turned my PS4 back on to try again and all seemed well but when I try to connect to the NA server I get sent back and it tells me unable to connect to PSN and to check if I am connected to it which obviously I am. Anyone else getting this or just me?

Edit: Seems I'm back to square one after I decided to try rebooting my PS4 again.

    Down for me as well. Just got home from the movies and was getting hit with the same issue saying I was not connected to PSN. Now it's saying "Loading Profile Failed" after restarting my ps4 at the eso login screen.

    Definitely. Im ready to switch to Xbox, Zen should allow character transfer.

    Yeah what is this crap? I'm sure it isn't the ESO Maintenance throwing me off. I've got ESO digitally on PS4 so when PSN is down (which is isn't according to https://status.playstation.com/en-us/ ) then my game is locked and I cannot play it.

    I find it strange that PSN is down 1 hour after ESO Maintenance started... Hmmmmm :confused: Plus it didn't kick my friends off and they've got a digital purchase too. :grey_question:

    Maintenance doesn't start until 6 am EST.

    Psn is down for some people i am effected as well by this and i bet you it will not let me play before the effen server maintenance...

    Yeah I've had similar issues. I think there's a PS patch incoming though, fingers crossed.

    Yeah, I have not been able to log in to PSN on my PS4 since 10:00 pm last night. The ESO patch downloaded and installed, though, so hopefully the network will be up by the time I get home from work.

    Noone wants to admit it , but Psn just plain sucks. It has got to be the least stable online service i've personally dealt with. Sony doesn't seem to care , its not like this is a new problem for their customers. Amazes me they still have fanboys that stick their heads in the sand and swear its not Sonys fault.

    Keep trying, I got the exact same message, spammed login a few more times and got in on my third attempt, I suspect this was due to a high volume of players trying to login

    Coming from XB 360 to PS4 the weakest part is the PSN. And and that is not good in this online world.

    The annoying thing is I pay for PS+ and pay to be an ESO member, yet it seems to be that the game or PSN is down when I get the time to play (when I'm not at work). I can't help but feel that I'm not getting my full moneys worth! I would be more sympathetic if I wasn't paying for any of the services.

    Then again is the down time necessary for the good quality I receive while it is working?

    I really hope you're referring to the game as Psn is certainly not anything even remotely resembling good quality. Sony should be ashamed to even admit they charge customers for online gaming across such a laughable network.

    Now i'm waiting for the inevitable "I downloaded this in .004 seconds" posts.

    Probably just their servers AGAIN!

    I always keep one toon on the NA and one on the EU. So far I have only had both go out once, and that was an entire network breakdown.

    It's ZOS maintenance, not PSN.

    same here but psn seems to be running fine. It seems to be the ESO servers.

    I like my PSN and PS4. I get tons of free games every month, I have dozens of options for other entertainment, including blue ray and I never have a problem with my network connections. I also like the controller and the ease for taking video and screenshots.

    My xBox One? Not so much. It's spotty and there are so many adverts and so much disorganization that it drives me nuts and I can't really do anything without having to pay (again) for it. I'll admit that the graphics and smoothness of play on some games is better, but, on the whole I like my PS better.

    I suppose, if I was going to turn my TV and gaming in to basically a PC, my xBox would be in the lead, but, for the time being I like the PS4 best (Okay, I'll admit it - it's because I have big hands and the controller is easier for me to use :wink: )
