    1. You can now safely press the button for the werewolf ultimate repeatedly without fear of immediately reverting back to normal again.
    2. Removed Stamina Regeneration from Lycanthropy; it now requires Werewolf Transformation to be slotted in your ability bar.
    3. Reduced the poison damage you receive while in Werewolf form to 25% from 40%.
    4. Fixed an issue which was allowing Negate Magic to pull Werewolves out of Werewolf Form.
    5. Fixed an issue where heavy attacks would play twice before striking your target while in werewolf form.
    6. You can no longer fish or use the dye station while in werewolf form.
    7. Devour: This ability can no longer target a destroyed Aura of Protection totem.
    8. Infectious Claws (Claws of Anguish morph): Fixed an issue where the healing debuff was stacking with other healing debuffs.
    9. Savage Strength (passive): This passive will no longer will be removed when your character is killed.

1 - You can now safely press the button for the werewolf ultimate repeatedly without fear of immediately reverting back to normal again.
Nice change to see, an improvement that I would say is long overdo. That'll compensate well of the occasional server lag or lack of responsiveness and is a nice change.

2 - Removed Stamina Regeneration from Lycanthropy; it now requires Werewolf Transformation to be slotted in your ability bar.
Good, so now people won't grab the skill line just for free stamina regen, now they'll have to give up an ultimate to get the passive, not like people haven't slotted ww like that before.

3 - Reduced the poison damage you receive while in Werewolf form to 25% from 40%.
Split on my feelings with this change. It waters down the choice of using the transformation (same for vampire) but I didn't feel that a massive weakness was good justification for a drawback. Something game play related would be better than a debuff like this in my opinion, but it'll be nice not handing snipers in cryodiil a free 40% damage buff on my.

4 - Fixed an issue which was allowing Negate Magic to pull Werewolves out of Werewolf Form.
Never noticed this one but nice, not sure how many sorcs are using negate now however, but still nice (bug fix/change?).

5 - Fixed an issue where heavy attacks would play twice before striking your target while in werewolf form.
Never noticed this one myself but seeing as the heavy attack is the thing zos seems to be banking on for the ww to sustain itself this is nice, but do we still need to clap while doing the power attack?

6 - You can no longer fish or use the dye station while in werewolf form.
Ok, guess this is the same as locking the crown store in werewolf form. Fine, helps prevent bugs.

7 - Devour: This ability can no longer target a destroyed Aura of Protection totem.
Another minor change but I guess being able to feed off of that is expected.

8 - Infectious Claws (Claws of Anguish morph): Fixed an issue where the healing debuff was stacking with other healing debuffs.
Bug fix, fair enough.

9 - Savage Strength (passive): This passive will no longer will be removed when your character is killed.
From my experience most people wouldn't last long enough in wolf form without needing to transform back after being killed.

Overall a few helpful bug fixes and made the werewolf less of a mandatory skill line to have. I don't feel that a whole lot of people will jump into the skill line now to use it more because it is still held back by the design decisions that went into it. Why would someone spend 21 skill points (one more than class/weapon lines) for something that is locked behind a short duration timer and restricts you from using most everything else your character has developed? What advantages does using the transformation have as being a part of your playstyle when you could easily replace it with another ultimate and save yourself the skill points and other problems?

I made a thread "Why Werewolf" a while back but nothing has changed since then to adjust my points. It is still just a thing that people get to have some perk, early on it was a way for tanks to generate ultimate and now its for the stamina regen, even if someone has to slot an unused ultimate for it. @ZOS, can we expect anything else for the werewolves in 2.1 or does the combat team still feel that "werewolves are fine as is?" Also if anyone wants to throw their 2 cents at this as to how they feel the transformation is now feel free.

Honestly, with the stamina regen, who didn't see this one coming? Vampires got a similar one, in that they need a vampire ability slotted or they don't get their magicka and stamina regen bonuses.

I'm more thrilled they didn't remove it outright or punish those of us who actually wanted to be a werewolf because it was FotM.

Well, there goes the ONE reason to be a werewolf.

Don't worry, we're just back to were we were last year, with people slotting it whenever their build only needs 1 ultimate. Only rather than slotting it for ultimate regen its for stamina. Progress!

I would be fine with this if tanks were not already going to have stamina issues.

As leader of a werewolf pack I must say the change to stamina regen will affect our numbers but will also filter those who really enjoy the werewolf "lifestyle" from those who just want the bonus it had. Quality over quantity I suppose. My reason to be a werewolf is roleplay and to be honest, can be really fun in PVP. Especially when you get 24 werewolves together shifting and running around, sheer madness.

Don't you mean the one reason to have Lycanthropy? I doubt those that got the disease just for the Stamina Recovery ever actually transformed. Also I'd rather be a Werewolf than a Vampire anyday. Hate those damned Vampires both in TESV AND this game but the reasons are completely different. My detest to TESO Vampires is the simple fact it's levelist compared to Werewolves. That and the bounty from feeding.

This won't change for me. Weapon Swapping is my friend. Toggle the Ultimate and when you want to use your proper ultimate, weapon swap in battle for a few seconds it takes to fire it and then toggle back.. problem solved.... at least for PVE players.

So I guess we are heading back to that style, only for stamina and not ultimate.

I don't mind the changes. I do agree that the clap for a heavy attack is super dumb though. It could be an upper cut or a flurry of slashes that happens while you charge the heavy attack or after it's charge perhaps? Maybe during the charge you growl and crouch a bit while flexing or something and then once it's charged you unload like 10 quick strikes?
I still think the passive for being hit and extending your WW timer should be stackable and longer than the time it takes it to cool down. Right now the passive is 3 sec longer in form with a 3 sec cool down. It should be something like 5 seconds with a 2 second cool down max stacking of like 60 seconds. on top of the maximum bar if devour is used etc. This would allow for more time in WW form when not fighting or in between things.
Also... where's my black Berserker wolf form? :(

I wish the form wasn't an Ultimate at all, but a Toggle. I would love to run around Tamriel in WW form doing the quests, then having to revert form to turn quests in. It was a crap decision for them to have the WW form as an Ultimate to begin with.

The few times my WW form bugged out and allowed me to stay a WW for a few hours at a time without having to feed on corpses was the most fun I have had in this game. A 30 second WW form that forces you to hurry about and concentrate on eating corpses instead of actually having fun and playing with the character, isn't much fun at all.

Who knows, they have the code to make morphs different colors (pack leader) and the black ww assets in game. But thats been a problem since forever as well.

But it helps with the immersion. A werewolf shouldn't be social and pause every few moments to chat with people, they need to just gogogo. Whenever I use my transformation in between fights I hear the people from pay day shouting GOGOGO.

I admit i got werewolf just for the free stamina regen, really who wouldn't if they understood the buff. Going to cure it now, which I was considering before because Vamp has a really good escape.

I didn't say WW should be able to stop and chat with people. They need to implement game mechanics that if you are in WW form, NO NPC will talk to you, so you have to revert back to hand in quests or go to the bank, like they are doing with the Dye Stations. That would make it more immersive. But when I am out killing enemies on the field, I want to be able to stay that way and continue killing everything in sight.

I agree, that was more a jab at the fact that when playing a ww you are effectively forced to only focus on eating rather than enjoying the transformation, sorry if it came out aggressively.

^^ omg yes. simple fix imo. If they don't want that as a toggle then it needs to be a MUCH longer time in the form for the amount of points I've invested into that stupid tree. lol.

Currently I only use ww for stamina regen. So with this new patch I get zero penalties or bonuses if I do not have ww ultimate slotted? Hmm

See no point in curing it after the patch then. I have 1 skill point in the werewolf line for the bite I can give to mates or sell.

Kinda sucks I'm losing 15% stamina regen tho.
