Ball Lightning (Bolt Escape morph): Reduced the duration of the orbs from this ability to 1.5 seconds from 6.5 seconds.
They did this to increase the skill ceiling of effective Ball of Lightning usage, fellow Carebear friend.
I'm really excited to play a Frost Sorcerer with update 7, especially with Bolt Escape not dramatically increasing in cost per use as stated in previous ESO live.

Hmmm did they just fail to mention this? We will see.

This is a very strange, previously unmentioned change..
1.5 seconds is ridiculous. I can see lowering it to maybe 4 seconds though.
Does Zeni actually believe the handful of PvP whiners saying only BoL users (not Streakers) can "bolt away into the horizon"? lol
Couldn't help but notice last night-- more than half the sorcs running away (from larger groups) were using Streak.
Is the lightning ball even going to get anywhere in 1.5 seconds? Frankly, when I do sorcerer, I stand so far away most of the time that I wouldn't even get to the target in that span of time! (Just kidding - I know it's a lot like teleport strike speed).
It's actually not a nerf for escaping sorcs. Only the last ball would absorb projectiles so having it refreshed more would mean its closer to the sorc and absorbing more. It's only a downside for sorcs who sit on the ball, aka lamers.

It's called lagOr dragging an enemy group into a friendly zerg. Or distracting a group from a more important objective by trolling them away. The limit is your imagination
Regardless, standing around taking a beating with a high mobility class is just silly, you have to play your strengths.
