So it's cheaper to resub for next month to get IMP city, then it is to get it as DLC for 25 dollars?

amgame308_ESO✭✭✭This is how I understand it. If you are subbed you have a sub based dlc. If you unsub you lose the DLC.
If you by the DLC outright in the crown store you have that DLC attached to your account forever.
If you are subbed no crowns if you are not subbed you use crowns. Drop the sub you lose the DLC because it was not purchased with crowns.
I think that is how it works.1 -

Maybe im wrong but i thought when you subbed for a month you ALSO got 1500 crowns? So if this is the case you sub for 2 months then use your 3000 crowns after to buy the DLC ....1 -

^ This. Sub is the way to go. 1500 crowns per month, and never have to worry about access to future DLC.0 -

Aaahhhh yes! Either buy the DLC from the Crown Store for $25+ have 500 crowns left over, and own IC for LIFE. OR Pay $15.00 per month for 2 months=$30.00 and have 500 crowns left over, enough to buy the DLC+500 crowns left over. The only benefit to going ESO prem for 2 months to get the crowns is the 10% XP advantage while leveling to VR16.
Either way, you get the DLC+500 crowns.
It comes down to paying $5.00 more for 10% xp buff for two months via ESO Premium Sub.1 -

Not true - the other benefit to doing it that way is that you get to try IC before you buy it. Also, to anyone who is still in the process of researching traits, the 10% discount to research times is a far bigger benefit to ESO+ than the 10% XP bonus.

Yes, when subbing you get 1500 crowns/mo and 10% xp bonus.
So if you were to sub for 2 months, you get 10%xp bonus for two months and 3,000 crowns.
The only difference in doing it that way is you get the 5% XP bonus for a duration of two months at an extra $5.00
