raids?

now im way low level to even think about it yet, but coming from other games ,where are the raids in this game? how do you get to them and start them ? how many people can run them? side note this is for xbox one im talking about.

4 people only, you get to them by finding them in the world.

there are no raids, only 4 manned dungeons.

There are 3 12-man dungeons in this game called Trials. Each of which is located in Craglorn. They are currently scaled to VR12.

There are normal and veteran 4-man dungeons, and 12-man trials. Those are the "raids" of ESO.

ive never seen anyone do or stream 12 man anything besides pvp so i just assumed.

ohhhhh so the lil 4 person dungeons are it for me until vr 12 oooofff lol that's along ways down the road im only level 12 hahaha the 12 man raids must be crazyyyyyyyy but are they on xbox one too?

all good dude I haven't seen streams or youtubes of any yet either that's why I asked here cause I was getting bummed that there isn't crazy raids in this game

Contrary to what you'd think from the way WoW works, the hardest content in the game is not the 12-man Trials, not even the hardmode versions of it. It is arguably Veteran DSA, as having 4 people means that each person is under more pressure to perform correctly.

The Trials are very short. Each trial has an achievement to finish it in under 33 minutes. They are essentially bigger dungeons that you attempt to speed run to get on the leaderboards and to get gear.

Personally, I like this much more than having to do raids (in WoW, for example) several nights a week just to clear everything because the raids are so large.

EDIT: You could knock out every Trial in this game within an hour if you're in a very good group.

If you're looking for videos of the trials, try searching for Aetherian Archive, Sanctum Ophidia, and Hel Ra Citadel. There should be at least a few for each on Youtube.

so I watched two and all it is to me is stack spam and heal repeat on taller than average typical creature from regular in game......kind of let down, feel like the scale of this game the "raids" should be enormous

It isn't that at all. Each fight in end game PvE content (DSA and Trials) has mechanics that must be accounted for and handled or it could potentially wipe the group. Personally, I think the fights feel more "epic" than most of the WoW fights did, but that may be because it has a much more mature and realistic art style than WoW did.

These are just my opinions, for the most part.

I can see what you mean but in the videos they don't explain conditions that have to be met or mechanics that have to be tended too that's why it just looks like run stop stack spam and heal to me.

You should watch some of @Deltia 's videos. He's very good at explaining what it is he's doing and why in all of his builds.

I'm not sure about the trials, but I know you have to be on your toes for vet dungeons. So it would genuinely surprise me if they didn't implement some nasty mechanics. It's just when you through 12 people at anything in this game, it's going to get kinda hectic, and look spammy, even though everyone knows what they need to be doing.

There's definitely more to it than that. Yes, some of that is needed, but there are various specific mechanics that you have to account for and deal with. I've only done Hel Ra personally, but with each fight there are specific tactics you need to use, and if not everyone is doing their job you've got a good chance of wiping on any given fight.
