I've never played a healer before.

In...well...pretty much any game. I started the game off as a High Elf NB Shadow/Bow user and at 15 I decided to give the Resto staff a shot. My Shadow Tree and Resto and Bow lines are all at or around 40 now. I've pretty much stopped using my bow altogether though lol. I'm only level 32 atm but was wondering if it's too late to respec into another skill line. Will it level up just fine without gimping myself if I want to choose another tree like Siphon for healing? I 3 manned 9 dungeons last night with two sorcerers and we kinda made it look comically easy. I think we may have died a handful of times on a few bosses but we had never been to any of the dungeons. It was good fun. :D All of my armor is medium with the tree maxxed sans the evasion ability and all of it has Magicka enchants. Any tips or info? I assume I would need to trick myself up a bit for endgame but I never struggled in the dungeons and never ran out of magicka due to my heavy resto staff magicka regen and some passives. Thanks in advance! :D

Healing is capable with any class, even nightblade however it won't be as efficient as Templar of course, but if you can manage to pull some siphon and restoration staff skills together, as well as potential group buffs from other trees then you might be able to pull it off. You for sure will need combat prayer, healing springs and siphon thing from restoration staff tree though, the rest you can mess around with, and the ultimate for nightblade would probably be consuming darkness, and haste would probably be a good ability to regen your magicka, or light/heavy weave while healing.

However, if you want to use a staff with your nightblade there are some high end magicka dps builds you can research, or you could stick with the classic dual weild + bow/2-h stamina build and do just fine

Any skill can be worked up relatively easy. Just get your items with the "Training" trait on them and they will progress faster than normal. This is a good thing to do for your armor as well. Wear a couple different types with that trait and they will all level up about the same. Find a crafter to help you out with the items you need.

I use the combat prayer, healing springs and all the others from the resto staff line. My ultimate is the veil of blades which adds a massive aoe dot and heals allies within it while negating damage and slowing enemies. Upgraded version of Consuming Darkness I believe. I'm thinking the siphon tree is probably best for the NB healer though. Shadow has some good abilities like refreshing path, which is an area healing and damaging dot as well a the manifestation of terror that sends enemies fleeing in horror when they get near me. Any other NB healers about with some good info? :D Thanks for the tips. :)
