Read on today's Xbox patch notes that Nirn is in all wood/ore/cloth nodes now in BOTH upper AND lower Crag!
Hoping to see this on Live in the near future?!?

Nirncrux can now be obtained from all rich ore, rich wood and rich cloth harvest nodes in Craglorn, not just the ones in the upper reaches of the zone, and not just from the highest tiers of material

LadyDestiny✭✭✭✭✭Honestly glad they did this. Should have been this way from the start. Upper crag nodes were a joke as it was a small area and not many nodes to begin with. Too many players to contend with fighting over who could grab it first. At least it gives some more area to cover so it is spread out more.

✭Read the patch notes. It said rich nodes, which means nodes from writ surveys. Normal nodes in Lower Craglorn still have absolutely no chance of dropping Nirncrux. Even in Upper Craglorn, there is only a 0.25% chance per node.0 -

That's actually nice. I haven't seen a nirncrux out of a lower crag survey yet (on PC). If that's actually live on our version, I should get back to doing writs.0 -

I do not believe so. I have harvested MANY Rich nodes in Craglorn. ONLY in Upper Craglorn AND from Rich "Void" nodes have I gotten Nirn.
IF the XBOX is getting Nirn from ALL Rich nodes, that's a MAJOR difference from the PC. Roughly an increase of 2 - 3x Nirn drops from crafting writs.0 -

Lower Crag surveys did not used to pay out with Nirn at all. If they had, the bugged Woodworker 3 survey (the one that wasn't being removed and kept auto refreshing) would have crashed the nirncrux market.

They've already said there are no nodes for the new mats. You buy them with TV stones or get them from deconning VR15-16 gear.

The new crafting materials don't have raw versions. You can only get them in refined form via the IC vendor, or from deconstructing VR15 and VR16 gear. Max level writs will still be Craglorn.0 -

Not pointless at all. It significantly increases the chances of getting nirncrux from surveys. People will also do a lot more equipment writs when IC is out because it's the only way to acquire Glass motif fragments.
