    ESO on PC:

    Better graphics
    Test Server
    First updates and DLC

    ESO on Console:

Gets updates and DLC after PC
You get the joy of listening to crying kids, barking dogs, and crappy music while you play

    The choice is obvious.

Graphics depend on hardware not just owning a PC, Console over all has quicker access to DLC in a lot of games, and if PC had open chat you'd hear all the same bull. While I enjoy this game on PC some games are more fun on console so the choice is not "obvious" but your bias is.

No and no, if PC had open chat, they'll just disable it. Text Chat only > Voip only.

This is why macros also existed.

I'm not sure how to dumb this down for you further. PC and console gamers are both loud, obnoxious, and petty. I was merely trying to point that you only don't hear it but rather see it in text. I was not recommending either platform for the thread owner, only pointing out the flawed logic of another forum jockey and why in comparison to gaming overall it is not an "obvious choice".

Sorry but it really is the obvious choice that PC is superior in the case ESO platforms.

It runs perfectly by using both actually. I have my PS4 running through a HDMI input on my Alienware laptop. Makes sense and lets me brag at the same time.

Having played both console and PC versions, the PC version is 10x better.

    PS4 EU

For me, ESOTU runs perfectly well on PS4.
PC players have addons...which makes their game better I'm sure in some ways, but the basic game, no addons, on PS4 runs perfectly well.
I don't go for this "PC master race' rubbish and those who say it do it to wind up console players. Same goes on between Xbox and PS players. It's just nonsense and makes me laugh. :p

For the OP, your game will look better on PC (especially if you have 2000 to spend on hardware and pick up the right gear), addons will make your game better. As for gameplay, well I don't think it will be better or worse than PS4. And, sorry to hear your PS4 broke on you. Hope you have it on warantee...??

If everything was perfect there would be nothing to strive for.

PS4 does run well but the lack of Text Chat is terrible. Because of that I can't recommend the console version compared to PC.

To be fair, the whole "PC master race" thing started out as a joke. Over time, some people have missed the joke and taken it as an actual thing.

    ESO on PC:

    Better graphics
    Test Server
    Addons
Text chat and voice chat (Teamspeak, etc...)
    First updates and DLC
Easier to trade and find groups
Controller support with the next update

    ESO on Console:

    No addons
    No text chat
Harder to trade and find groups
Gets updates and DLC after PC
You get the joy of listening to crying kids, barking dogs, and crappy music while you play

    The choice is obvious.

Controller support with the next update?? Now that is a huge bonus for the pc version as I hated the mouse/kb controls. I'm supposing its and XBox360 controller.

I haven't played it on console myself, but based on what I've seen of streamers playing it on xbox1/ps4 and a lack of text chat means for me I prefer the PC version. If you're the type of person who vastly prefers console gaming to pc gaming then you'll save some money buying/fixing PS4. PS4 would most likely also have more players, however there are a lot playing PC as well, so you shouldn't have issues finding a group/pvping at all here. So, I guess in the end it all comes down to your personal preference in the end, and you'd probably need to decide for not only ESO, but also moving forward on future games you may wish to play.

Only you can make the decision, but I will tell you this since I transferred to PS4 I haven't touched my PC version
of TU and I had been on PC since beta.
Lot cheaper to get your PS4 fixed or replaced than a cost of a PC that will do TU justice.
Be prepared to install and use teamspeak as most PC groups require that for voice chat ironically.

My ps4 broke :( but i do love ESO, my question is does ESO run better on ps4 or pc? I do have the money for a gaming pc($up to 2000)

I've played both on a decent PC and on PS4. So here's my take:

If you've got the money for a decent system (and a better than 1080p display), then the graphics are definitely better on PC.

If you like playing with a controller, the console is the better option (until they release controller support on PC). There are ways to do it on PC (with xpadder and the like), but they're somewhat kludgy.

If you like ease-of-use and simplicity, the console version is hard to beat.

If you like add-ons and don't mind keeping them updated, go PC.

PC has built-in text chat, console has built-in voice chat. Both have their advantages/disadvantages. Console doesn't currently have text chat and doing voice chat on PC will require a 3rd party app that doesn't integrate at all with the game.

If you like to sit back on the couch, console is generally better. If you sit at a desk, PC is generally better.

I personally prefer my PS4 version, just because I love the controller and the ease-of-use. The only thing I really miss from the PC version is add-ons.
