PSA how to fight back again bolt escape node wars

So in Upper craglorn bolt escape sorcerers are racing for nodes like it's going out of style. My solution is rapid maneuver. Jump on your horse to conserve stamina and pop a skill next to the node you want to take you off your horse asap. The horse moves faster than bolt escape and sorcerers rage.

    it's a shame they didn't have a system in place where taking a node does not take it away from someone else.

    Like GW2's node system, it is taken for you when you gathered but not for anyone else.

    The nodes in most of Cadwells Gold contain the same stuff as Ctraglorn.

    The only nodes that are different are those in uppoer Crag with the chance of a nirncrux, and there being only one server, the competition is going to be fierce by the people who think wasting an hour of their life looking for a 20k drop is worth it.

    Just do the crafting writs and get a higher chance, some exp and tempers/wax. Have a few stacks or the ingots/ore and sanded wood in your bank and do the quests in 10 minutes every day. Dont bother to go to the map locations you may recieve untill you have a few. Then do those in bulk.
    • When you cant take a map out of the bag becasue you already have one, keep hold of it untill you have a few saved up.
    • Once you have taken the last node on the crafting map fragment, open the next bag
    • Run out of seight of the node and back again to reset it.

    Rinse and repeat.


    Chasing nodes is a mugs game and not worth the pennies it brings in.

    This is a multi player game, as such your actions should affect the world for other people MORE not less

    I'm after Nirncrux. I actually have the traits researched and can craft the gear so i'm trying to get enough of the stuff. Lol ppl are using werewolf form now too it's getting real out here.

    Bow + dogeroll + rapid + sprint is much faster than bolting and doesn't require you to mount, so even for small distances you are faster.
