Mini rollbacks , losing 1 or more hours of progress.
I have experienced this 3 times after release in ESO and such server and database sync issues are inacceptable.
I was so close to leave because this is the worst case that can happen in MMOs and you cant get this out of your head "Will it happen again?".
I am so glad they have fixed those severe sync issues because this would really had killed the game.
[*] QUEST LAYERS: The game has come to PS4! I can play with my friends! Oh... wait.... I did that quest already and I was going to help you, but now you're invisible... hmm well so much for that. NOT FUN!
They slapped a very unique and fun combat system in a crappy bland MMO.
I wish Bathesda made this game
Even more than lack of new content is the lag in pvp.
If they don't fix that next update I'll be done with the game. Tired of that being the factor in every fight. They need to address group size, zerging and just overall bulkiness in the coding that causes it. They've had a million ideas (some even good ones) on how to address some of the issues that doesn't even concern coding and yet they sit on their hands.

Being openminded is cool and all. In Skyrim I could avoid anything I thought was too evil for my preferences, but not here in ESO.
To me the game ESO is overwhelmingly evil, and in so many obvious and also in subtle ways. Soul Gems... got to be the most evil system of mana/power management I ever saw in a video game, and it's downright impossible to avoid using them in ESO. Sorcerer's pets only deadra (who we are supposedly trying to fight), the skills themselves of most classes (don't need to be a Vamp when you are a NB, the standard self heal IMO is just a vampire skill), our status as a "soul shriven", too much emphasis on vampire and werewolf, as well as many others too numerous to list.
I tried to give this game a good go at it, tried to be open minded... the game has it's fun parts for sure... but to me evil is evil no matter what dress it wears. Evil sexy is still evil and I have no taste for it. I even tried playing just Templars but even that feels like I am just pretending to be good. I don't want to just pretend to be a good guy in a video game, I want my character to be a good guy, not just "another kind of evil".
That is why I hardly play at all anymore and have given up any desire to make it anywhere near 50.
Reasons i stopped playing.
- not delivering on promised content in a reasonable time frame.
- going back on their word with Veteran ranks.
- broken/imbalanced champion system
- lackluster Vampire mechanics.
- laggy pvp battles leading to much frustration.
- reaching max level/gear with little to no content left to achieve.
- allowing bugs (some from beta) to persist for over a year now.
- keeping their community in the dark, failing to address many of the games problems.
- useless PVE dungeon loot (crafted/pvp takes the cake)
- broken LFG system
- buggy animations and visual effects (some since beta i have reported repeatedly over the year)
- ...
The list goes on and on and on.
