Using Nirnhoned knowing that it is broken is technically exploiting by ZOS's own definition in the code of conduct:

5.2 Users will not exploit any bug, or abuse any game system (such as the scoring or award systems) in a ZeniMax Game, Service, forum, or other games or services provided by ZeniMax. Users will not intentionally use or share any bug found within any ZeniMax Game, real or fictitious, regardless of whether or not it grants an unfair advantage. You will not directly or indirectly communicate the existence of any such bug to any other user of the ZeniMax Service (in game or on a ZeniMax service). Report bugs and exploits using the in-game portal or via http://help.elderscrollsonline.com/app/home.

Just as an FYI, Nirn is bugged / not working as intended, hence the patch to fix it for the IC launch. So "technically" if you are wearing Nirn armor because you know its bugged, you are exploiting.

Judging by that we are also not allowed to share bugs.

That is correct. Good eye to catch that. It means you actually read it all. I thought it was pretty interesting too. They dont want bugs shared on the forums because what actually happens is everyone starts abusing them. They want them reported via the in-game reporting tool. I don't necessarily agree with these rules but that's what they are.

Personally I think that should be modified to say all should be reported only to ZOS for a period of 1 month.
After that they should be public knowledge....as many will be abusing the mechanic by then anyway.
I would then leave it upto ZOS to ensure exploits are fixed in a timely manner.
You cant have half cyrodiil using every exploit under the sun....and the remaining sacrificial sheep ...oblivious.

Either that or ban guilds to slow down the propagation.

Yes, but since you don't get punished for it and ZOS obviously doesn't manage their own way, I simply don't care and do what I think is the best for the game.

Actually I used to argue that point until Gina Bruno or Jessica Folsom said that it was in fact *not* bugged...that it was stronger than it was intended and would be nerfed at some point on the next upcoming patch. That was what made it OK to use in my book....plus the fact that despite using 2 pieces of nirn I'm in fact taking close to full damage in most cases.

Actually you probably misunderstood bucket referring to me not being like bolterity because I didn't exploit. I suppose it is possible he was saying bolterity didn't and I did, but in that case he would have been wrong on both counts.

The current state of Cyrodiil is an appropriate title. Nearly everyone is using exploits to gain an advantage. I'd rather die a thousand deaths to an exploiter, or leave the game, before doing so myself.

All of these exploits need to be corrected.

    /respect

I feel disgusted at all the sorcs I have learned this week alone that are using these exploits.
