Well this is not fun.

Not sure what is going on. I am trying to find people for my quests. I follow the quest indicator but I see no people. So I logged out and logged back in. Fixed the first time, but not the second time. Getting frustrated now.

Also lock picking. I am on the Xbox One. This is not fun at all. It's suppose to be easy mode and I am breaking lock picks. This is suppose to be fun? I hate to see what hard is like. Any good tips for lock picking on consoles?

Pretty sure xbox is having serious connectivity issues atm. Saw a post on kotaku about it earlier. Probably what's causing your issues. :(

Lock picking on xbox/ps4 is a bit trial and error to find the sweet spot but I promise you when you do get it you will need maybe 10 lock picks at most the rest of the time you pal this game. As soon as you see it stop and shake just let go and it should stay put for you but if you let it shake too long its either a broken pick or a reset of the tumbler.

If people aren't showing up just wait at the quest marker for a few seconds. Sometimes they NPC's don't spawn right away (should spawn within 10 seconds of you walking into the area). If that doesn't work try going into the Xbox settings and clearing the DVD/Blue-ray data (make sure the game is not running when you do this or it will not work. if the game loads go the the home screen, hit start, and "quit" the game first). That used to work before the lat patch when they "fixed" the invisible NPC bug.

Lock picking takes a little getting used to but it is pretty easy once you get the hang on it. I've never put any skill points into making lock picking easier and I can do Master locks w/o any trouble.

I know x-box live was down last night but is supposed to be back up and running again now (at work so I can't test it). If you are still having issues hopefully they will be resolved after tomorrows patch

The first issue is data flow and latency - will be worse at peak data traffic times, esp, busy areas ie. cities and PvP

There are only three positions for each tumbler. If you miss it first time you can quickly set it right by now knowing where it should be. I can now succeed on most chest now, even the hard ones - just takes practice. Breaking lockpicks is random as far as I know.
Everyone knows the phenomenon of trying to hold your breath underwater - how at first it's alright and you can handle it, and then as it gets closer and closer to the time when you must breathe, how urgent the need becomes, the lust and the hunger to breathe. And then the panic sets in when you begin to think that you won't be able to breathe - and finally, when you take in air and the anxiety subsides...that's what it's like to be a vampire and need blood.

I don't know if it's different on the XB1, but on the PC the Legerdemain skill only affects the chance of forcing locks. Not picking them. That said, it sounds like you guys might have a different minigame entirely. On PC we've got a version of the Oblivion pins game.

Yeah, I've been seeing reports that XBL is having issues. If you're experiencing problems, that might be the issue. Connectivity can be really hard to judge with ESO because the game is very good at hiding client side disconnects. If you're not seeing anyone around, (NPCs, enemies, anything) try sprinting and seeing if your stamina depletes. If it doesn't, you're not connected anymore. You can either log out and try logging back in or waiting to see if you reconnect naturally.

PS4 works the same way, much like Onlivion only works better and Legerdemain works same as well

I wish I could just skip Cadwell's silver, it's just boring to me. Either way it's easier to youtube things or google map locations compared to getting lost and doing every side quest.

when my pets stay behind me, I know my connection is screwed
