Glanir's smoke bomb, Discourse Amaranthine, any/all costumes you pick up from the various "disguise yourself" quests - please, ESO, give us non-bank/bag collectible storage for these! There's so many, and I'd love to keep them, but as a fulltime crafter with maxed out bags/bank on all alts, I just don't have room for them!

I will give you cookies if you do this.

Yep, most of my bank is used up by cool items and costumes I don't wanna delete, but almost feel forced to. Can't we just add them to "collections"?

That was supposedly the intent of those "newly" added tabs in the first place but so far the only things you can put there are things you BUY from the Crown Store. Hmmm.... The only other things I've seen go in there are the skeleton costume and the costumes you get for finishing certain Main Story quests. So far we get nothing for all the cool "useable" public dungeon trinkets and things like Justal's Falcon which is a quest reward and can't even be put on the Q ring like most other similar items. I'd love to see more of these type of items in the game but they realllllly need to give us proper storage for them that does NOT require bank or bag space!

Also the dwemer spider pet and the three vet costumes.

But, yeah, seriously, half the point of the collections tab was to be able to squirrel away the various costumes and trinkets we got along the way. I can understand that those disguises were problematic, but they could still just unlock the costumes that match the visuals and let us junk the disguises at our leisure.

Creating a costume version of the disguises (which would not have disguise functionality) I think is in the works, according to datamining. The issue with the trinkets currently is that they can be "used" and have a "cooldown", so to move them into Collections they would need to come up with a way to still have them be "usable". Collections items right now only have On/Off toggles, not Use actions.

ESO has probably the only cash shop in the world that doesn't offer extra storage as an option.

    What's up with that? It's a guaranteed best-seller.

That depends... bag space is definitely a Convenience, but would it be considered pay-to-win?

I agree OP. It would be really nice to be able to store trophies that I didn't want to destroy and not have them take up inventory/bank space. especially the ones that have an effect.

There are some who will scream p2w no matter what you put in the store. Ignore them and let us buy more bag space.

Besides, what would I be "winning" at? Inventory management? Fewest mule alts?

I've had to delete so many "unique" things. Oh well.

*Remembers the guy who was claiming that the costumes were Pay 2 Win, because you paid to get something.*

It's interesting that the pets can still be mapped to the quick bar... initially I misread your post and thought you were saying that was the sticking point. But, it is a bit of functionality suggesting those trinkets are bound for the collection tab someday. Let's hope sooner than later.

With luck, you'll get those back when the system kicks over.

More bag space -> more items in bag -> more gold/mats from items sold/decon'd -> buy/craft better gear faster.

To be fair, you don't get anything better with this, you can just get stuff faster, the same as with XP pots. That's why it shouldn't be a P2W issue. You're right though, the screaming will come.

Yeah, I had initially forgotten that pets can be mapped to the quickslots, and the fact that they can be suggests that the functionality is in the works. It's probably the item cooldown that's the biggest sticking point, and perhaps also that they don't really want them to be account-wide. Although they can be banked to be transferred between characters, so that shouldn't be an issue either.

I think that last time this came up they said they were looking into it. I think their idea was to give you a "collectible" version of the costume at the end of the quest, like you do with the Skeleton.

So you'd use the quest version during the quest (the one that disappears if you get attacked) and then get the permanent one at the end.

    Looking forward to that.

Not sure about the public dungeon trophies, though.

I have a sense you are being devils advocate so I will play along. You can essentially make absolutely anything p2w using that line of thinking.

Subscription->faster xp->more cp-> more power faster . Which makes sub p2w, which is hilariously nonsensical.

I don't really want to get into what is p2w and what is not, it's been done to death. I juts know that in other games with cash shops extra bag/inventory space has never really been a festering P2W issue.
