Instead of crying and wanting free and easy Champion Points, ask Zenimax to implement a non-veteran campaign with Champion Points disabled, and a veteran campaign with Champion Points disabled. It's as simple as that.
On second thought, even that wouldn't work. Then you would be crying about how they are still VR14 and have more skills and better gear than you do.....
Haha come on dude, everyone knows those CPs give you a HUGE advantage, if they didn't, people like you wouldn't stick up for them so defiantly. It's what 33% stam, magic, and health regen, with 33% more spell resistant and physical resistance, along with 33% more spell absorbition and so on. Yeah 33% isn't a much. But please keep telling people about the dimisnihing return. A vet can hold his own against let's say 5 dudes and maybe kill a few if not all before he drops. A v14 with maxed cp points can whipe out 10 high level players with ease. It wasn't the more more attribute skills he acquired, it was the 33% bump in everything
But like I said a non-PC transfer campaign would be great. But the PC transfers would hate that, it would suck having to play people on your level
The various passives cap at 25%, some as low as 12%, and to reach that requires 100 Champion Points in that star. There are a maximum of 3,600 Champion Points available, which no one is even remotely close to reaching yet.
I suggest you read up on the Champion System and how it works before you post.
VR14 players were taking on and slaughtering groups of 5 to 10 opponents before the Champion System was even introduced.
@Akavir_Sentinel The increase to the 3 main stats (health, magicka, stamina) can easily reach 50% on each when comparing 0 CPs and 3600 CPs. Not everything is capped at 25%.
The "diminishing returns" are a joke.
ITT: A lot of players who rely on a stat advantage to remain "better" that are desperate terrified of losing that crutch.

Isn't it the most normal thing in the world for people that play more to have stronger characters than people that play less?
Why on Earth would you have a character just as strong if you've put less time into the game? I only have 100 CPs but I have no desire to be as strong as someone with 1000 CPs, he put in the time and effort and he deserves the be stronger than me. If I beat someone like that on sheer skill, I just have more to be proud of.
^ This guy gets it.
Thank you for not being part of the "I want it all and I want it now for no effort" generation.
If a new player is going to use a slippery slope fallacy to justify breaking the terms of service, they shouldn't play the game.
But, you know, thanks for reading and stuff.

All this shows is that these players don't care about the future of the game. They only care about keeping their advantage that they "worked" for. And no new player should ever be allowed to be near their level, not because they are scared of the competition, no not at all, because ummmm I'm not sure. Oh the game should be about hours grinded over skill, that's right. One hell of a community you got here Zos.

Or you can have both skill and champion points. But what's happening is most of the people I see complaining just want champion points nerfed or capped or made easier to get because they don't want to put in the time to do it themselves.
Of course casual gamers aren't lazy.
They just tend to play closed-world games. Either single-player games at their own pace, or multiplayer match games that only require a small time commitment.
The upcoming Elder Scrolls Legends online card game will be much better suited to casual gamers.
But with ESO, ZeniMax is making sure that if you play even just a few hours a week, three years from now all of your characters will feel like they have three years of experience. Not overwhelming, game-breaking power. But enough advancement that you stick around for the next adventure.
The people complaining about CP are thinking about what they don't have today, as opposed to what they'll have if they stick with the game. Which makes me think an online MMO isn't the best gaming choice for them.
