female Nord appearance

I thought the Nords were pretty in Skyrim, but here...the female model has a puny, strange lower lip, even at maximum lip fullness. I know this is unlikely to be changed, just had to mention it.

If you want sexy lips you are in the wrong game.

Everyone knows the phenomenon of trying to hold your breath underwater - how at first it's alright and you can handle it, and then as it gets closer and closer to the time when you must breathe, how urgent the need becomes, the lust and the hunger to breathe. And then the panic sets in when you begin to think that you won't be able to breathe - and finally, when you take in air and the anxiety subsides...that's what it's like to be a vampire and need blood.

I'm seeing lots of issues with FaceFX lately on NPCs with thick lips and some of the facial/speech recognition being completely off. Redguards and Khajiits in particular have learned how to be Grade A Ventriloquists as well.

If I recall, there is still issues with the skeletons of races as well. Could be part of the reason for the thin lower lip on female Nords. I think we need yet another update to them again (ZOS updated the skin textures and skeletons last year, but they definitely still need more work). lol

As an extra slab of decidance, try going into Sneak with any character that has the back of their neck exposed. You'll notice your neck still elongates to unworldly proportions. You'll never be able to play in third person the same way again. Once you notice it, t is forever carved into the back of your mind. (Believe it or not, before the sneak animation change, it used to be even worse.)

What's the matter, can't handle the sight of a strong Nord woman?
My biggest fear in life is, ending up marrying a girl who is lactose intolerant, think about it you would have to purchase double the amount of milk every week, cause you enjoy the goodness of full cream milk and she is drinking soy beans, and her milk takes up extra room in the fridge, or when you are doing a midnight run to the fridge to get a nice cup of milk and to accidentally pour some Soy milk. I couldn't imagine a worst way to do married life. - Barry Scott

Or, more hilarious. Depending on your perspective. Yeah, the old neck trick was downright disturbing.

Lol, yay I'm not the only one who noticed. Figured maybe I was just being picky

But really bothers me about the nord women is the same thing that bothers me about Breton males, you can't really do middle aged. It just never looks right. You get young and baby faced or old and weathered. So frustrating :s.

one of the first body decorations is an aged effect on the skin if I remember, not just the age slider

True, you can give the character wrinkled skin and a bad complexion but the Breton's features are just really soft, even when you play around with the heroic or angular options. They kind of jump from twenty-ish to fifty and older. So a lot lot of the time they don't look like they're aged so much as weather by a hard life which is all well and good but it's weird to me.

Same goes for the female nords. Their features are either really soft or far too defined. so it's hard to make a stern middle aged character without making her look overly sour and pruned.

Sexism is fine on the ESO forums

How is wanting your female Nord character to have full lips gender based discrimination or prejudice?

Anyhow OP has a point. I loaded up the game to check, if you add fullness to a female Nord's lips the upper lip starts to look disproportionately large. More like it is swollen rather than naturally full.

You tell me. Why do you like duck lips and bubble butts are you a pervert or something

So unexplained reasoning, redirection to topics unrelated, and assumptions. Moving on then :D

I have the same problem creating female Nords. Either look way too soft (adolescent) or they look like man beasts.

Ya there's definitely something wrong with the female lips in this game. They have a weird glowish texture that's pretty annoying.
