I have been playing ESO for about a month. I get on it every spare moment I have and I have to say I am loving this game to death. If it wasnt for Elder Scrolls OTR I would never have picked up this game, but I am glad I gave it a chance.

I see a LOT of negativity on this site, accusations and name calling aimed at ZOS and co. I personally do not understand why. These bunch have worked really hard to get this game out, to update it and are still working on it. Just because you don't instantly have what you want doesn't mean the devs deserve to be ripped a new one.

I look forward to seeing what else comes out in updates and expansion packs for this game. I have never played anything like it, seriously awesome.

This is a FREAKING AWESOME game and i also Jump in and play whenever I can,

I have been playing since Beta and will not EVER even think of leaving the game,

I am looking forward to the NEW additions that are coming soon.

If you are playing on pc sure but console players get no attention hints why there probably are a bunch of dissatisfied ppl we just want the same options pc players have available like text chat and for it to show are xp we receive from killing things and dmg we are doing they don't even pay no attention to those type of threads it's ridiculous

I have been playing since BETA on the PC and I agree with OP 100%

The only thing i would say is sometimes you need to think twice about it as what you may see as negativity is more often that not merely frustration built up over a period of time.
I have done my share of ZOS bashing but that is because I am invested in this game and feel it has so much potential along with a great community.

I have played games for longer than I wish to admit and I have worked in the game industry so I have seen community management done very well and badly as it is one hell of a good free resource for a project like this if it is harnessed and nurtured properly and currently ZOS are missing the mark on that one.

I've been playing since Beta, and I love it too.
Mind you, I don't agree with every decision that has been made in regard to this game. I've been especially disappointed with some of them, but there is no denying that the game itself is absolutely beautiful, and still gives me many hours of enjoyment. I still play every day, and I still marvel at the beauty of the game wherever I go, even though I've seen most of it dozens of times.

I have been playing for a little over a month now and i'm currently V6 and so far i still get on every spare moment i have. Love the game! It is exactly the kind of mmo for console i have been wanting since i left WoW several years ago.

There is no arguing it is a great game even on console i was just saying that alot of post that are disatisfied ppl are probably console players because we lack things the pc version has and other reasons

Someone once said that when zos is quiet is usually when they are working hard on stuff in the background. Just because they don't respond does not mean they are not listening. I am sure they have a LOT of stuff they are working on to improve the game for all, especially consoles.

ESO is great game considering its just over one year old. It still has a lot of potential to be unlocked.
Pace of introducing new content will be essential for success in future.

Well that's to be expected because, frankly, this is a game of two halves: 1-50, VR1+.

If you love the 1-50 you're likely in for a nasty shock, if you're a player to wants to 'group up' in order to level then VR1 onwards and especially VR10+ is for you.

The change at VR1 is marked, and at VR10 even more so.

I consider 1-50 in ESO as one of the most enjoyable MMOs I've played, VR1-VR10 is simply a chore, taking 3 mins to kill a pack of three isn't hard, it's tedious. Having to 'group up' to level beyond VR10 is entirely not what I want to do so my progress stops at VR10.

I am myself really enjoying the game as well. Sometimes when I am going over the content I think about the insane ammount of work they put into it. C'me, that thousands pages of lore and voice acting for nigh every npc.

I personally havent noticed much issues with balance, but then again I am no hardcore pvp-er, alas I had my fair share in that portion of the game.
My credo is simply: play smart.
Nightblades gonna snipe you down, because that's their role,
Tanks are going to CC you, and are tought to kill, because that's their role,
...and come on, in every game mages are dangerous!

Also got to realize I cant be the best in everything, there are choices, and sacrifices here as well.

All these in mind, the game's pretty perfect for me.

Made a good job with it!

I kill groups of 4 and 5 within seconds don't know what you talkin bout! And if you are playing an mmo and are upset you have to group up for things then don't play an mmo!

not really, there's no excuse why Text chat is not enabled on Consoles.

The only mod most people want are damage numbers.

Text Chat for MMO's is needed this is where ZoS completely fails, I would agree that this is an amazing game however with no text chat and a good LFG system this game gets a much lower score.

I agree on combat text and i also agree a chat box should have been in the game in the first place. The only point i was making was that if you take off all the addons on pc you are basicly left with what we have on console.

This game has the potential to be great! It is already great actually but it could be so much better! That is why i am excited for the future of this game and i hope it is a long one at that.

There is definitely room for improvement, but it doesnt remove from the fact that this game is super freaking awesome. My favourite part of the game...because I am lame....is the crafting.

I also enjoy crafting and wish that they would expand on it a little bit and make it more in-depth. Currently, everyone and their dog can be a master crafter and make anything without the need for a dedicated crafter.

You gotta work hard at it though. I spend a lot of time gathering resources so I can go back and craft stuff. I get so disappointed when I level up and/or find a new motif I want to try out and my skill or resources are not enough lol.

I havent actually played any MMO this long in my life, so that might say something, my last record was about 15 month, but ESO is in lead now, and I see myself playing easily 1-2 year more, or who knows, there isnt anything decent coming in next years, well EQN and Black Desert Online could be worth to check, but even they are nothing in size compared to ESO.
