Suggestion Two-Handed weapons

after using a great sword in HEMA (historic European Martial Arts) I can say they should defiantly add some defensive capabilities to the two hander. there is historic evidence of them being used defensively and I think the game would be nice if it had a 2 hand tank option that didn't require a lot of convincing people you can actually do it

    Personally I just think 2h needs some better AOE options. Why dont we have the classic whirlwind attack for 2h? Spinning around and cleaving everything around you?

    2H already gives you a shield to absorb damage and a self heal.

    as for the AoE thing, passives and morphs give you quite a bit of AoE for 2H

    I want a 2H-moose, a whirlwind moose would be bad ass.

    If you are a dragon knight, blocking should not be much of an issue since there's the draconic passive "Iron skin" which if at 2/2 you will be able to block an additional 10% damage. There are plenty of options to choose from since the world of ESO can be played how you want to play it, keep in mind that dragon knights make good tanks alongside Templars regardless of weapon options.
    If you see me anywhere. Know that I am sitting back with a bag of popcorn, watching as ESO burns the goodwill of its player base with practices that only disrespects the players time like it did to me and many others...

    If a game does not respect your time, best thing to do is move on from it and find something else.

    I found two-handed to be the best melee DPS weapon line - it has it all, gap closer, area-hitting shielding attack, cc-attack, selfheal, finisher and splash damage...

    I would love to see a new "polearms" skill line though, for wielding halberds, ranseur, glaives and such. And that one definitely ought to include some "whirlwind" type attack (reusing the "radial sweep" ani from the aedric spear, mayhap?)

    In the right hands, the 2H is already stupidly defensive. I can think of more than one party wipe where, as a 2H DPS, I've kept going for 20 or 30 seconds after everyone else has been smeared, and 2H tanking is very viable.
