I want to start a new character to replace my current Argonian NB main. I have limited resources. Where are the best places to use xp potions to maximize the benefit?

I play EP.

i would assume it highly populated areas full of mobs that respawn fast.

Personally? I would save them to post 50. 1-50 is a drop in the bucket of the total progression to V14, and the quests that you really will want to do for skill points will easily get you to at least 46 or 47 without the need to grind. The problem with popping those potions to quest is the downtime in between. Plenty of waste.

After 50? Lots of chances to use those potions.

Grind zombies. Almost every zone has at least one spot. They don't have any special or ranged attacks, they don't CC, they don't heal, and they just keep coming at you. It takes me less than 2 days to take a brand new level 3 toon to VR1, and that's without XP pots/scrolls.

For real? How many hours total? Where are these zombies?

use the pots whenever you are grinding. Save 10 min in 3-50 means 10 more min you can grind when you are vr14. The amount of time saved is always 30% so doesnt matter what level you used it.

Figure a day being 8 hours, so around 16 hours total to go from level 3 to VR1. I don't know exactly where the spots are in EP territory, as I grind all of mine in DC, which has tons of zombie grind spots.

Once you hit level 42, have someone port you to Coldharbour and continue grinding zombies there until you hit VR1.

Thank you. I'll see what I can pull off.
