Can you guys stop automatically putting me in the area chat and the guild chat. There are so many ignorant people out there with zero mic etiquette that have garbage blasting in their mics non stop. It is beyond annoying. if I want to go into a chat, I will do it myself thank you very much.

    im not 100% sure on this. but in options there is a scale to lower or increase player voice. now i myself never fiddled with it. but i am assuming if you turn it all the way down it will be muted?


    on further thought. i came to a conclusion that might just be for your own volume if you use voice chat? :P

    I don't see how you stand to play ESO on console. Wait in group finder for hours just to play with some randoms that don't know what they are doing and are just running all over the place, then have to listen to crying babies, barking dogs, and crappy music the entire time you are playing. No text chat, no addons, etc.....

    thats why a majority of people dont do dungeons and why a majority turn off voice chat all the time.

    console version = a single player game with annoying advanced AI NPCs (<--- other players) atleast thats how i see it with no text chat.

    i learned to just ignore voice chat and block it out of my mind :D

    Or you do what I did, join a guild and be social, have done all dungeons with guild groups and don't have to warrior more than 15 minutes to get people together to do them. As more and more are getting to vet levels this is getting easier and easier. I for one hate the idea of adding text to consoles as it would mean I have to stop playing to chat.

    or or or you can keep using voice chat and the other player can use text chat and like all other MMOs with text chat you stop to read it at your leisure. so its a win/win for everyone.

    i dont understand why its so hard for some people to grasp that you dont have to stop using voice chat if text chat is in game. 3/4 the game is already in text and the other 1/4 in voice. whats so bad about making communications in both?
