sorc pvp help

so im working on a redo on my sorc build and i have a few questions about it

my build hits roughly 2k spell damage and 2k magicka regen (when i use my drinks
) and 25k max magicka

my main bar is destro staff with...

- hardened ward
- harness magicka
- ball of light
- crushing shock
- crystal frag

secondary is resto staff

- mutagen
- healing ward
- retreating maneuver
- hardened ward
- daedric mines

my objective with this build so far has been sustainability, with my magicka regen and shields on each bar i stay alive quite well

my thoughts to improve it however will look like

main

- structured entropy
- velocious curse
- (streak or ball of light)
- crushing shock
- crystal frags

and i would move all of my shields and heals from my previous build onto my secondary bar with mines

my main concerns with the new build would be lack of sustainability, so im looking for advice from any vet players/sorcs, any info,tips, or advice would be amazing

(also i cant decide on streak or ball of light for this build so info on that would be good too)

Very interesting. I notice no real defensive spells (outside of ward) was your main idea for survivability to keep them at bay?

I aim for the same goal, only a very different path to reach it. That's why I am unsure of any advice, its such a different build. I would like to see what your results are

my old builds idea was to be able to constantly stack shields while doing damage with crushing shock and procing frags all with ball of light as an escape, i almost never died unless knocked down and out of stam but i dont feel like im doing to offensive damage my sorc is capable of

edit: harness magicka is a shield against any attacks that inflict spell damage

dude spam crystal fragments and stack shields number 1 reason i die to sorcs I do not play a sorc but so much people do it to me

thats what i do now, crystal frag is only good when it procs and i use crushing shock to get it there while i spam 2 shields. but if i change my build i can use curse, entropy, then frag to get 40% more damage from frag plus whatever curse and entropys damage is (1 shot glass cannon)
