I talked to my guild leader and he has posted in the MOTD that undercutting others will get you kicked. So everyone in my guild now sells stuff for about the same price. Daedra hearts for 3k, blue motifs for 3-4k grain solvent for 4-5k and so on.
Damn man...
Wont pay for than 1k for motifs....and 3k for D hearts??
Holy *** your a clan of thieves lol, are you guys the new thieves guild DLC????

An item that I can find (be it green, blue, gold or purple) you are selling for 100's of K's?
I am not so desperate (or have that much gold) to buy it from the guild. I'll be patient.
BTW - what kind of idiot would pay 3K for a Daedra Heart! Good grief! No one needs it that bad.
How are you sure that NOONE will need it that much?
If there would be only one daedra heart left intamriel then im sure people would need it much. Thats extreme case.

I'd rather have the guild members having it cheaply than just sat around in the bank! Never think to search to see what the going rate is/if i'm undercutting people... oops.

Whats pissing me off is that there are now people selling hearts for 2900... and its not only getting them less money but it hurts the guild because they don't get as much in taxes. Same with rare motifs, a few weeks ago they sold for 90-100k (Primal, daedric etc) and not I can buy them as low as 40k... That is ridiculous. Not only would you make more money if everyone sold for the same price but everything would be more smooth and efficient. In the one guild I am in we have a stall in daggerfall and there was about 3-4 of us selling grain solvent all for 4-5k, last night someone came in and bought all of them from everyone. So not only did we make more by staying around the same price for all of us but now the person buying didnt have to go to 5 different stalls to get a decent deal. I know people want to sell their *** and make money but please just look at the prices and sell for the same price! It will get you so much more money. #rantover

The more of the goods floods market the lower price goes. Because everyone wants to sell it at the same time.
And what they do when things dont sell? The lower price.
If a great demand appeared for daedra hearts people will start buying out those at lower prices and naturally price will increase.

Pretty much how I handle my pricing. Most of what I list is relatively cheap. I know I appreciate finding things at a bargain, makes you feel like all warm and fuzzy inside. So I try to give others the same opportunity to enjoy that feeling too.
I'm not really looking to make huge stacks of cash, just cover my routine expenses. I mean even if I had billions of dollars what would I spend it on? Besides constantly being poor gives me something to shoot for
However I do try not to go too far below what my other guild members list for with certain things and I do donate gold when I've had a particularly good week to help fund the guild kiosk.

You know that taxes from sales in your guild kiosk go for supporting guild trader? The higher the price, the more tax and more gold goes toward next trader. So you can keep donating to your guild by selling stuff, and the more you sell (or at higher prices) the better.
What you see now is just the PC Vet transfers cornering the market with their borrowed and copied over goods.

Ive seen several cases where someone was trying SO HARD to undercut others prices that after sale taxes he earned LESS than if he would vendor things.
This is common with all crafting materials (ingots, sanded woods, cloths and leathers)
