Nightblade bow skills and medium armor and assignation tree only for most part

Can I be viable and complete PvE things like that ? I really love to craft but really just want to max all on one character

I'd like to go through v16 PvE with this character and be able to complete and still be 6 craft character

I wouldn't see why not, you'd just be missing out on some great skills you can get from PvP that are pretty amazing for PvE.

It's not my only character ... It's just a character I want to rp as a crafter that only fights when needed

I have a PvP tank and healer I'm leveling

And two PvE DPS of other two factions

But I want to make sure I can complete on level PvE quests as I get to higher and higher mat collecting zones on my trader

I'm really trying to super focus him in stamina assignation tree bow tree and medium armor tree with a few other important ones thrown in to get by the rest go to crafting ... That way the character is super specialized in combat one trick pony so to say but hopefully in my theory would still see me through to end of PvE content while being able to be liberal with points in crafting

Working decent so far but only level 25 so far wondering about next 25 levels and veteran ranks

My V9 main is full lvl 50 crafter in all professions. Has been since mid 40's. I don't PVP and have never felt gimped in PVE. You have to be selective on skill points in the middle levels (sort of where you are now), but it gets better as you get higher and hit more skill points from the different options.

While you're going 1-50 I can't see how you would have an issue, but you will have a bit of work to do as you start getting additional skill points through the veteran levels. I normally suggest my guildies put points into and level all three of their class trees as there are some worthwhile synergies there.

It is worth considering that once you get into the v15-16 level you will probably just be purchasing materials though or passing them along from one of your normal characters.

If you invest skill points into all 6 crafts as you level to 50 you will occasionally find yourself short skill points; leaving skills unmorphed. Once you get to VR though, you'll be drowning in skill points, each zone will grant 8 or 9 of them between skyshards and the storylines for each.

Gimped in combat however? No. You can level 1-50 with nothing but light and heavy attacks.

You need 123 points for all crafting skills to be maxed (one point in Keen Eye and none in Snakeblood)

OK, I have a VR14 who has maxed all crafts and has points in almost everything in each craft other than Keen Eye and Snake Blood. She only uses one weapon, a Destro Staff (no other weapon has any points in it), only one FG Active, no Undaunted Actives/Passives, no PvP Skills or Passives. She has completed all Silver and Gold and has no skyshards left to find other than Craglorn and Cyrodiil, so figure 10 more Skill Points I could scrape together. I still have things I would like to invest points in, but I can only get the SPs from Skyshards since she does not PvP.

So, that should answer your question.

Or, look at this another way, roll an alt or two for crafting. You will be much happier much sooner in the game.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

My main crafter has all professions and all traits. The character is not gimped at all. But if i want to change the build, i need to make full respec, so it is somewhat inflexible. I ended up leveling a clone of it to have some more fun with the builds. Now the main crafter is stamina NB dps and the clone is magicka NB tank/dps/healer.
