Where are the children?

This topic comes up way too often, is this the next "We want housing but we never play it when we get them" topics. Ive said, if they add Childrens, I want to see beggars, plaqued, injured, families, lovers too, something for everyone. Ive never seen this suggested so much as in ESO forums. Im kind of starting to get suspicious, Childrens are coming to ESO?

Thank you, we needed a 1,000th thread on this subject. ESO will never have children in it. I'm not going to bother explaining why for the 1,000th time.

And you'd be wrong for the 1,000th time anyway. Age of Conan, an M rated game with FAR MORE T&A and gorey violence has unkillable children in its city hubs and they are even involved in certain quests. No one has sued Funcom over it nor have there likely been any complaints at all. The ONLY reason they are not in ESO is because ZOS chose not to use the resources to create them. Full stop.

Now they need to add them because it's creepy and weird to live in a world with no kids...even when, like me, you DON'T like them all that much.

I'm content with there not being kids because I think they'll be added someday through some story means.

Quoting you because you reminded me of something I do miss in this game.

Being able to give Beggars a couple of coins to help them out. I always feel bad when I see them on the side of a road and can do nothing for them. I was rather disappointed when I discovered you couldn't interact with them here.

Adding children is a one way ticket to a media field day. They are also so eager to jump on the "video games encourage violence/immoral behavior" bandwagon even if the children are immune to damage. Why? Because that one guy decided to post a video with him doing the /pushup emote over a child who is laying down.

ESO may be able to implement unkillable children with minimal consequence, but for the most part implementing children seems like more trouble than it is worth.

But hey, I can always dream about it being implemented one day.....

You can't help out the ones in towns, but if you talk to the ones that are random encounters near roads outside of towns you can give them gold. There's even an achievement for giving gold to a beggar in each zone.

But really, what is this need for children in an MMO? Don't you have anything better to do in this game apart from looking at virtual children?

*Children DLC. Coming to Crown Store soon* Sigh...

    Theory #1

The kids are gone because of the OP feral cats. The population is out of control, and with it they are spreading toxoplasmosis. We need to be able to cull the feline population so the babies of Tamriel have a chance.

    Theory #2

No one can take off their undies, how is reproduction supposed to occur?

    Theory #3

The fluoride in Tamriel's drinking water has caused a 100% perinatal mortality rate. We need to find another way to get the slaughterfish out of our lakes and rivers.

    Theory #4

Children will be available in a future DLC, but will be restricted those who have the "I left the house and made new friends" achievement.

Most people who want to see children in ESO only want them to be there because of how jarring their absence is. The fact that there isn't a single child in all of Tamriel really strains the suspension of disbelief that's required to enjoy a story. People who only care about gameplay aren't going care about there not being any children in the game. People who enjoy the story are.

Hyperbole much? Jarring? Yes, I am so absolutely shaken to the core that there are no children in ESO.....

You people are just going to have to get over the fact that ESO does not, and will never have, children. It's disturbing, really, how many of you are all but begging to have children in a violent fantasy game.

And this is where the lore cuts through the game's future. Yeah, let ZOS add children into the game! You will surely enjoy the fact that there are children more than experiencing new content or more frequent and accurate balance changes.

And if we talk Children then let's add another race- just like in Tera.

Adding children is not only creating a model but also devs need to make their behaving, running around, playing, doing children stuff. That would take away lot of resources that are needed to fix real issues and create new content. No point of adding children who would behave like small versions of adults.

There're a LOT of gay and lesbian couples, more than straight ones I think lol. There's that pretty neat quest don't-remember-where that revolves a couple of guys one of whom becomes infected with lycanthropy and in the end the other makes a choice on whether to stay with his loved one or leave him. And I think another one for a bosmer couple, sad one though, I think one of them died and the remaining one asks you to help you collect some special flowers or something?
Some of them don't have specific quests and are pretty easy to miss but I'm fairly sure at least a few merchants mention it if you actually read their text.
