No nirn or fragments, why ?

Now ZOS give a guy a break, I haven't received any nirn in months in fact most days I only get a empty soul gem and a green glyph and that's it. Now I understand nirn's are a rare item but come on none in months wtf do I have to do ?
Plus the stupid fragments for a recipe, not 1 since the start, I do writs daly, but still not 1 GD fragment.
Is this just my bad luck or is it once again a F up on ZOS part ????????????????????????????????????????

I am confused by the bolded parts. Are you saying you expect nirncrux stones to drop from Enchanting surveys?
And yes, RNG hates you. And me. I've done 7 provisioning writs a day from the start and only last weekend I got my first fragment (and two the next day) and that's been it.

I find this hard to believe. SInce nirn was released I have at least a couple of dozen sitting in the bank as I haven't used them and that is from ONE crafter.
As for the writs, my two level 6 crafters spent a month getting four writs. I bought the rest as the price has dropped since introduction.
It is all about random numbers. I would sometimes fillet 500 fish and get NO roe and then there were times that I would get 3 roe from 15 fish. It's all about randomness.0 -

I have done 3 a day since introduction, I have 4/7 but I have only ever receIved them on my maxed out provisioner. I'm guessing the RNG improves with skill level but probably not by much.PC NA

JJBaboon✭✭Strangely I have recieved quite a few nirn trait gems from the woodworking surveys on ps4. I almost always find one or two from the surveys in Craglorn, but only from nightwood nodes from the actual survey. Not sure why this is.0 -

I have about 95 fortified and 50 potents, typically I get 1 to 3 nirn a day.

Ok now I see who is getting my nirn's.
I have 2 woodworker's, 1 has been lvl 50 the 1st month after release. I have 1 lvl 50 enchanter, took me a bit longer to level to 50. I have 2 lvl 50 provisioner's, I have 1 lvl 50 blacksmith, and 1 lvl 50 clothier, 1 baby alchemist. I do my writs daly.
I know my enchanter isn't getting any nirn's too, but darn it, even with terrible luck I should have gotten at least a few more nirn's eh? I even run north Craglorn looking at time's, but most of the peeps harvesting are just plain and simple rude.
But even at that I did harvest 1 nirn once. LOL>0 -

There's nothing valuable in the enchanting writs right now. You'll get more out than you put in, but you're not rolling the dice for anything really good. Well, better than finding some dual Kuta nodes on a survey, but still.
With Woodworking, Clothier, and Blacksmithing, you're rolling the dice for a survey. Surveys pay out with Nirncrux at a higher rate than normal nodes (though I'm not sure how good the odds really are).
EDIT: I should add, upper Craglorn Surveys do. I have yet to see lower Craglorn surveys pay out with Nirncrux. It's possible they do, but I've never seen it happen. If your survey is for somewhere else, like Eastmarch, then you're not going to get anything neat out of it.
Provisioning can pay out with recipe fragments. I think the provisioner needs to be vet one, but I could be mistaken there. Either way, the drop rate is pretty horrific.
Alchemy... does nothing. Again, you'll get more out than you put in, but it's not going to give you anything special. Even less so than Enchanting, because there is no gold alchemy mat to get on a really lucky roll.Edited by starkerealm on July 24, 2015 8:48PM0 -

You can get Kuta straight from the writ, I receive roughly one every other day with two enchanters.0
