The time between hidden and detected needs a buff and AUS servers

I can't count the amount of times when I was hidden, Just about to grab what I was after, Press X (while I'm STILL hidden I'll add) and by the time X is fully depressed I'm detected and busted.
I mean c'mon.. I've either got really bad luck and/or timing or there's Literally a split second of a split second that separates you from hidden and detected and either losing all your hard stolen stuff or a trip to the outlaws refuge and a few gold out of your pocket.
I understand that that's probably the point. The whole risk thing. You could be caught at any moment an all that But dam I was having a shocker today and just needed to vent a little.
Which brings me to my next point. Many of the times I got busted was because I was hidden, hit X to steal whatever and it didn't "get stolen" untill a good 5-10 seconds later when there was a guard or vendor right there who wasn't when I ACTUALLY intended on taking afore mentioned random item.
LAG..... Crazy bad lag that has actually cost me most of my theft related deaths and bounties.
Will us Australians ever get our own server instead of having to play on servers That are on the other side of the earth?
I'm not saying that will eliminate lag all together but I'm dam sure it'd help.
I honestly doubt that they'll EVER make an Australian server because of the costs and maintenance etc. (especially since they got rid of the pay to play sub) but it doesn't hurt to put the feelers out there.
And who knows. We get enough threads mentioning or asking for an Aussie server they might give us 1

Other than that I've got the best internet I can afford.
Don't get me wrong the lag isn't terrible.... Well.. It's isn't AALLLL the time. It's honestly rather rare but when it hits it usually hits for a good 10-20 mins and makes the game literally unplayable. Can't crouch, can't talk to npc's or other players, can't steal stuff. Literally can't do ANYTHING but run around like a headless chook untill I decide that it's not going away and I log out for a while.This is my signature.

It's 10 degrees here right now which isn't too bad (about 50 Fahrenheit) but it's been known to hit -7 Celsius where I am..
I know that's not Siberian or Canadian coldness but it's enough for me.
Not 100% on that. I'm on adsl with a provider called exetel (and am thinking of changing coz they seem to be getting worse and worse at providing their service) and I live in Canberra.

Unless your internet connection is very bad (e.g. dial-up like speeds), faster internet won't help. MMOs in general have minimal impact on bandwidth capacity. However, that being said there is some inherent lag that affects us (in Australia) seemingly more than other countries (e.g. USA) and that seems somehow related to latency. And unfortunately there is nothing we in Australia can do about that, other than geographical relocation. An important thing to remember; latency and lag are two different things.You just need faster internet. I live in Australia and don't get any lag - are you on the NBN or ADSL?
What can sometimes be a problem is if your computer is downloading updates or similar that takes all your bandwidth, or someone else is doing similar in your house. Then, even though ESO only seems to require a tens of kbs a second bandwidth to run, it will be effected.

Nothing WE can do maybe but surely an AUS server would reduce the latency because our signal isn't travelling hundreds of KMs there and back.. I really don't know. I'm no techno savaunt but it sounds good in theory

Gotta agree with you on the not liking HOT weather..
Don't know about where your at but where I am gets the extremes.
Like I said it can get down to -7 C during winter (about 19 F) and we've hit 50 C several times during summer (122 F).
Not jealous but I definately which I was there.
