Will VR leveling be faster after IC update?

I returned to ESO for the ps4 launch. I've gotten a new NB to VR1, halfway to VR2. I prefer grinding mobs. With the 50% xp potions and the IC update, will leveling up my VR ranks be faster with the changes in that DLC? Just deciding whether I want to keep leveling now, or wait and just start doing it once the potions and IC patch go live for PS4.

It takes 15% less XP to gain a vet level in the imperial city base patch.. .so even grinding is quicker yes.

There's also a lot of XP buffs for questing if you decided to go down that route.

Someone did the math earlier after the announcement and it looks like VR1-16 will take less overall XP after the patch than VR1-14 currently does now.

I think it will be around the same if you are on a pvp server that has all the buffs right now you get an extra 15% xp at all times from leveling then add in the bonus 10% with eso plus we actually get an extra 25% xp starting at lvl 10. In the IC patch they will be lowering only the vet xp needed and raising the vet xp earned, but we will be losing the buff servers in pve so I think it may actually even itself out and we won't actually see much of a change. I don't know what the actual numbers are so I could be way off here.

Thanks for the replies. How much of a buff is questing getting? If questing xp is getting a good buff, I'd probably just do that along with grinding to break things up. If questing xp is alot faster though, I may just do that exclusively after the patch.

There are a couple things getting an xp buff with different values

Veteran System Changes
The amount of XP it takes to earn a Veteran Rank has been lowered to 850,000, down from 1 million.
The amount of XP earned from Veteran Quests, including the new Imperial City quests, has been raised by 50%.
The amount of XP earned from Veteran Public Dungeons has been doubled.
The amount of XP earned from all activities in Craglorn has been raised by 20%.
Veteran XP rewards across the board have been improved.
Overall, it will take far shorter to earn a Veteran Rank

Crag quests actually go up by 80%. You get the 50% quest buff plus 20% Crag buff, and its multiplicative not additive (hence 80%, not 70%)

vet quests are getting 50% more exp
Craglorn is getting 20% more

and i think group dungeon exp is getting doubled but i'm not sure on that one.
