Sometimes too much, they have a vision for the game and should stick to it.
Have you ever tried to get info from Rockstar or tried to change their minds for example?

There are loads of suggestions on these forums on a daily basis. Some people go to great lengths in presenting their proposals - but in the end they are just what they want, not what the game designers want.
You see people work out elaborate details for how spell crafting or the justice system or crafting research timers could work, but it doesn't bear any relation to the reality of the game code.
Or to put it more simply: they can't implement everyone's pet mini-project.
It's not about what the game designers want it's about what the people that bought there game want after all we are the ones that are giving them money for it i mean if they wanted to create a game were they don't want to listen to the community why didn't they just create another single player elder scrolls game that's why it's call elder scrolls online it's a ever changing game with new updates and they should listen to the community that pays for there game

If you look at the recent poll, 62% (over twice as many people) were happy and excited about the expansion. Only 20% were butthurt about it... But if you looked at the trending posts here? You'd have a different impression. Mostly because the same complainers are vocal and will continuously post their complaints over and over and over and chime in on every thread with the same drivel.
Honestly, General Discussion is more or less an echo chamber for your wailing. Cry it out, love. Cry it out. But most of us are happy with the game and happy with the developers.

Yes words do tend to make people believe they are listening not just silence

If you buy a car you can tell Ford that you really wanted that cup holder here, and they might listen but it's not going to be top of their priorities. Particularly if they get people saying "no, I want it there", others saying "I don't want it at all" and yet more saying "I didn't even get one".
Or to put it more simply: they can't implement everyone's pet mini-project.

No but i know for a fact dcuo has better communication with there community i mean they post back on a ton of ppl's suggestion threads and are even making things in the game ppl have requested like water powers for example ppl wanted it so they are making it but development here doesn't care

Ok what you are saying there is they have better forum presence and communication at dcuo.
I will give you that one, although it has gotten better since Rich Lambert took over.
On your other point if you let people who buy the game design the game, (chicken or the egg?), the game would never
be finished as not everyone wants the same thing.
It is up to you the player to check out a game before you buy and decide if it is what you want or not.

Still i stop believing in /lurk as feedback of any significance.

FFXIV
I'm sure they have a team that constantly monitors the forums and reports back any large threads that have a large following. The developers have a difficult job with trying to keep the players happy but also keeping the game balanced as well as coming up with new ideas for content. I would rather have them doing their actual job instead of watching the forums all day.
