Kicked Out Of Dungeon

I don't know if this is the right place for this but whatever, I just want to rant about this. So I was in Selene's Web and we were dying repeatedly on the last boss. I ended up getting kicked from the group, and as the healer I guess it was for lack of heals? But the reason I am here is to ask your opinion. The reason we were dying and I couldn't get enough heals out was adds. No one was killing them and they kept hitting me and stunning me and I couldn't move to save my (or anyone elses) life. The tank was a MAGE with LIGHT ARMOR and never used a single taunt (only person in group not taking damage) I guess the worst part is we were on the last boss and now I have to do the entire thing again just to complete the quest. Guess premades are the way to go

Wasn't your fault then. A tank with light armour and using a staff I take it, you did say mage?
Tank need to be using board and sword with heavy armour. Lol
Not as Technical as you may think.
You don't die for your country, you let the other bast*rd die for his.

Yes, I forgot to mention what I meant by mage was the staff (and Tempar I think, not that it matters) I figured something was up, as a majority of my tanks use sword and board, and I think it has the only taunt besides the Undaunted one?

Yeah, pugs are adorable, with their little stubby faces they roll all over the keyboard, then they eat shank and die, and start to blame the healer.

I say this as someone who had a rather ragged run of vet spindle earlier... until we realized that half our party were significantly under-leveled for the scaling, went out, swaped the leadership around and went back in to curbstomp.

Honestly, there was a time when light armor was the way to go for tanking... that's not the case anymore. But, people are going to be mother-shank-ers, and pass the blame onto the healer because they're idiots like that.

The whole thing is about teamplay really.
I in a tank role most of the time. If my team mates keep dying it's mostly because I cant pull the mobs off them.
If I keep dying it's mostly because I dont get enough healing.
If all of us keep dying it's mostly because the lack of dps.
But most of the time it's because of bad team play really.

Premades help a lot yes, with mic-communication.

Sadly I have run into a few oddities in teams as well. Misplayed roles, or role switching are among the ones I dislike the most. (tank not doing his role to get the attention for instance, or locking down mobs if need be)

Some class abilities (like fiery grip) seem to have some aggro weirdness built in. But, yeah, Inner Fire and puncture are the only two hard taunts in the game.

As I said earlier, there was a time when a light armor sword 'n board was your go to tank spec. Then ZoS fed the light armor stats through a woodchipper with 1.6, and now we're back to heavy armor or, (in some cases) heavy mixed with medium or light.
